Ayad Akhtar’s play “Disgraced" -- which examines the struggle of a Pakistani-American corporate lawyer to reconcile his heritage with his ambition -- won this year's Pulitzer Prize for Drama. After premiering at Chicago’s American Theater Company, the play ran off-Broadway last fall in the smallest of the three theaters at Lincoln Center. The Lincoln Center TheaterLCT3 production of Disgraced, the new play by Ayad Akhtar, directed by Kimberly Senior, has been extended for a second time through Sunday, December 23 at the Claire Tow Theater 150 West 65 Street. The production, which features Heidi Armbruster, Erik Jensen, Aasif Mandvi, Omar Maskati and Karen Pittman, was originally scheduled to run through November 18 and was then extended through Sunday December 2. Disgraced is produced by arrangement with the Araca Group.
