It Was A One Life To Live Reunion At Eddie Alderson’s Wedding
Image
One Life To Live star Eddie Alderson recently tied the knot, and he celebrated his big day with several friends from Llanview.

Hearts Bursting

Alderson’s (ex-Matthew) sister, Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr), took to Instagram with a slew of photos from her little brother’s big day on September 21, 2024, including a group photo featuring several familiar faces.

Along with congratulations for the happy couple, Alderson’s caption read, “Everyone was beaming with excitement the whole day! Not only was our wonderful blood family there but our One Life to Live family as well! Oh man, I hadn’t seen Kassie and Bob in such a long time, I cried when I saw them! And my besties @britt_underwood and @nicrobuck flew in to be there!?!! My heart was just bursting all night.”

Sage Steele Replaces Candace Owens In The Daily Wire & Adam Carolla’s Adult Animated Series ‘Mr Birchum’
Image
Exclusive: TV anchor Sage Steele has replaced Candace Owens in the voice cast of The Daily Wire’s upcoming animated sitcom Mr Birchum, following the latter’s recent exit from the right wing news platform.

The former ESPN anchor joins voice cast of Megyn Kelly, Brett Cooper, Adam Carolla (who created the show), Roseanne Barr, Danny Trejo, Rob Riggle, Patrick Warburton, Tyler Fischer, Alonzo Bodden, Kyle Dunnigan, and Jay Mohr.

Steele will play the role of Deena, who is married to Mr. Birchum’s best friend Gage. The role was previously due to be played by Owens who exited The Daily Wire last month. Her exit followed clashes with co-founder Ben Shapiro over the Israel-Hamas war.

Carolla voices Mr. Birchum, a no-nonsense teacher navigating Teddy Roosevelt Junior High with his family — Wendi (Kelly), Eddie (Dunnigan), and stepdaughter Jeanie (Cooper). Partnering with his friend Gage (Bodden), Mr. Birchum faces off...

Future Weather

To call Future Weather a ‘coming-of-age’ tale would likely be to make the assumption that the 13 year-old lead, Lauduree (Perla Haney-Jardine) has a Stand By Me moment somewhere around the climax of the film. Though Lauduree has her scene, the folks that come-of-age in Jenny Deller’s debut feature are the adults.

Lauduree is a precocious girl with big, environmental-science aspirations. Her mom Tanya (Marin Ireland) is an aspiring makeup artist, but a bit of a feckless parent. Her grandmother Greta (Amy Madigan) is love-lost, and more of a parent than Tanya seems capable of.

Haney-Jardine handles some difficult material with grown-up poise, and those childlike adults play their roles with equal parts moderation and complete abandonment.

Future Weather is a small film that looks big. Deller and cinematographer Zak Mulligan magically transform suburban Pennsylvania to a beautiful rural wonderland, and Deller’s assured direction makes her work...
