Warning: contains spoilers for Venom #12!Marvel's Sleeper has officially overcome Venom’s traditional weaknesses. Symbiotes like Venom are immensely powerful, possessed of great strength and endurance, but they also have two extremely common weaknesses: fire and sound. Numerous foes have used these to best Venom and other symbiotes, and Peter Parker even originally repelled the symbiote suit by exposing it to a tolling bell. However, Venom's spawn Sleeper has found a way around these limits, declaring itself the "most powerful symbiote."
Sleeper first appeared in 2018’s Venom #165, created by Mike Costa and Mark Bagley. Sleeper is the seventh symbiote to spawn from Venom and was originally intended to bond with Spider-Man villain the Scorpion. Venom thwarted this effort, deciding not to bond Sleeper with a host for the time being, so as to avoid it becoming corrupted. Venom left Sleeper in the care of the Alchemax Corporation, but Sleeper eventually broke away.

Wow, y'all, pickings are slim tonight. And I don't mean in the "there's nothing good on" sense, I mean there's nothing on. Good, bad, indifferent or otherwise. At least nothing new, I guess there may be some interesting re-runs happening somewhere. I hope you've got books or some DVDs to keep you busy otherwise, god forbid, you might actually have to interact with other people and we all know how much those of us who spend time on the internet hate that. As best I can tell from movies and TV shows, we're all either super genius teenagers who "hack" in some kind of competitive fashion or lonely obese men in basements with no lights stuffing our face with some variety of neon-colored snack food and soda who like to pretend we're nubile 21 year old women with fabulous social lives who also somehow manage to have time to talk dirty...

From early Lollapalooza to this year's Coachella, hip-hop has always had a place at major U.S. music gatherings.

American music fans had to chuckle back in 2008, when former Oasis co-founder Noel Gallagher raised a giant stink about Jay-z headlining the venerable Glastonbury Festival. Honestly? Hip-hop doesn't belong at big festivals? C'mon, Noel.
Well, we'll see how much water that big cup of righteous indignation holds in the next few days as fans of Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival weigh in on the news that not one, but two hip-hop legends — Eminem and Lil Wayne — will top a bill that features a dozen other rappers sprinkled in among the usual cadre of jam-friendly acts, indie faves and the usual classic rock big fish.
While Bonnaroo's organizers have long shunned the "jam-band" festival tag, the annual steamy gathering on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee,...

Halloween week just keeps rolling on tonight with a whole slew of new Halloween themed episodes for your viewing enjoyment. I actually don't have a lot of time for TV this week since forces have conspired to make me Extra Super Mondo Busy but I appreciate that it's all happening and most of it I'll be able to see on Hulu. It is actually the thought of Halloween that's dragging me through the worst parts; that Sunday night I'll get to dress up in something I'd never wear otherwise and go out to the giant street party that is Miami on Halloween and try and break my record for variety of containers to drink alcohol out of in one night. Last year was a highlight, since I ran into some sexy lumberjacks carrying around sweet tea vodka in syrup bottles. Anyway, here's your Wednesday night TV:
