Long before his success with the Apple TV+ series,Severance, Adam Scott had a role inParks and Recreation. The acor recentrlt revealed who he thinks should lead a potential spinoff series.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Scott was asked which Parks and Recreation character he would choose to center a spinoff around. "Probably Jerry [portrayed by Jim O'Heir]," the actor said. "I think because when we left the show, he was mayor, still, of Pawnee. I'd like to see how that worked out, if there were any scandals, or if he was able to keep his powder dry and run the town in the way we know it should be run."

Francis Ford Coppola’s controversial “Megalopolis” production is now being given the documentary treatment. Mike Figgis directs “Megadoc” about the making of Coppola’s self-funded $120 million epic. Margaret Qualley is used to embodying larger than life characters on screen. Now, she has a musical alter ego in the form of Lace Manhattan. A year ago, Francis Ford Coppola, the legendary director behind classics like “The Godfather” and “Apocalypse Now,” released his sci-fi epic “Megalopolis.”

The film, which tells the story of a visionary architect fighting a corrupt politician to rebuild a city after a disaster, didn’t get the warm welcome Coppola hoped for. Despite spending $120 million of his own money, the movie struggled to find an audience.

Coppola premiered “Megalopolis” at Cannes, hoping for a big success, but the reaction was mostly confusion. Lionsgate later picked up the film and released it in theaters in May 2025, where it ran for 138 minutes.

Unfortunately, it only made about $7 million. After that, Lionsgate pulled the film from theaters, gave the rights back to Coppola, and no streaming or Blu-ray releases followed. The movie can’t even be rented on Amazon anymore, with the listing showing “rights expired.”

Francis Ford Coppola is already planning to re-release “Megalopolis.” The auteur has famously recut a slew of his most iconic features, including “Apocalypse Now.” Soon, “Megalopolis” will also be revisited in the edit room, with Coppola teasing that the proudly Razzie award-winning epic will be “more weird” with the recut.

“It was [originally] more weird,” Coppola said during the New Jersey leg of his tour for the 2024 film (via the World of Reel). “I own the picture, I can do anything I want with it.” The recut will include added deleted dream sequences that will make the film “weirder.”

Coppola said that he cut certain sequences from the final film “because already people were saying this film was so weird.”

Legendary Entertainment is eyeing a possible acquisition of Lionsgate Studios, TheWrap has learned.

Lionsgate, whose franchises include “The Hunger Games” and “John Wick,” split with Starz earlier this year. As it stands, the companies are potentially looking to work together on upcoming movies.

A spokesperson for both Lionsgate and Legendary declined to comment.

Lionsgate Studios, which encompasses its Motion Picture Group and the Television Studio segment as well as the company’s 20,000-plus title film and television library, began trading last year on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol Lion.

Last year, Legendary grossed over $20 billion at the global box office and experienced its most profitable year to date. Three years before The Beekeeper, Jason Statham starred in the equally successful action hit Wrath of Man. Now, the movie is finding success on Hulu after being added to the streamer's library at the start of July.

Per FlixPatrol, a day after being added to Hulu, Wrath of Man has already landed on the streamer's Top 10 Movies list, currently sitting in the No. 9 spot. If the Statham-led action movie wants to climb higher on the chart, it will have to go through several popular features, such as the 1996 sci-fi blockbuster Independence Day, the 2013 crime comedy The Heat, the modern Disney classic Holes, and the Liam Neeson drama film Absolution.
