Pcb & Dead Meat Partner to Release Frost Road via Kickstarter: "Pcb Entertainment, Keith Arem (Call of Duty Performance Director), Christopher Shy (Dead Space Comic Artist) - the creative team behind Image Comics’ award winning graphic novel, Ascend, is set to unveil Frost Road, set to launch on Kickstarter March 4, 2025. Chris Hemsworth is a certified action hero outside his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his Netflix action thriller film series Extraction proves that. Following the success of the first two installments, Netflix has announced the franchise will further grow with a TV show.

The best action franchise from Netflix finally gets a long-awaited update. Extraction 3 is officially in the works, and the story is being polished according to the film's producers, the Russo brothers. Sam Hargrave is back in the directing chair to finish out his fan-favorite trilogy, which features some of the most innovative and epic action sequences from the past decade. After an explosive Extraction 2, the sequel looks to finally start production sometime next year.

While attending New York Comic Con, Collider spoke to Anthony and Joe Russo about the third film in the Extraction franchise. Joe, who wrote the previous two installments, returns to pen the new sequel. He intentionally remained secretive about Extraction 3, but couldn't help but tease the upcoming production. In addition to confirming the story is being worked on, Joe revealed that filming is planned to begin in 2025.

The animated horror series “Fright Krewe” has been renewed for Season 2 at Hulu and Peacock, Variety has learned exclusively.

The 10-episode first season was released on Oct. 2. The second season is expected to launch in 2024, though an exact premiere date has not been set.

The series hails from creators Eli Roth and James Frey and DreamWorks Animation. DC supervillain Deathstroke gets a bloody, but melodramatic makeover from Warner Bros. Animation. Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons: The Movie was originally conceived as an animated series for the CW Seed digital network. One episode was released before the shorts were edited into a feature film. Superb action scenes and a fairly compelling storyline are muddled by terrible dialogue. The narrative feels like a soap opera for long stretches. A stratospheric climax adds a shot of adrenaline to end on a high note.

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons: The Movie begins with a coup on the island of San Miguel. The feared mercenary cuts through swaths of soldiers to reach his target. A new trailer for Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons has arrived online. This latest DC animated feature is interesting as it started life as a short-form series on CW Seed. But more than 50 minutes of footage has been added, given fans an entire movie to enjoy. The trailer showcases the R-rated adventure to come, with Slade Wilson getting his hands very dirty on a quest to save his family.

The trailer opens up with Slade Wilson's transformation into the assassin known as Deathstroke. Things get action-heavy in a hurry before we find the mercenary put in a tough spot. With Manu Bennett’s Slade Wilson unlikely to return for Arrow‘s eighth and final season and the character now being played by Esai Morales over on DC Universe’s Titans, The CW somehow managed to have him remain in the Arrowverse in some fashion. Ingeniously enough, the Deathstroke animated series we’ve been hearing about for some time will serve that purpose.

In the tradition of Vixen, Freedom Fighters: The Ray and Constantine: City of Demons, Deathstroke: Knights and Dragons will be the next animated web series to air on The CW Seed online streaming site. No concrete premiere date has been given at the time of this writing, but the first of twelve episodes will air beginning sometime in the first quarter of 2020.

Ten years ago, Slade Wilson—aka the super-assassin called Deathstroke—made a tragic mistake and his wife and son paid a terrible price.

CW Seed has released a blood-soaked first look at their upcoming animated series Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons. This is a 12-episode original series that stars Michael Chiklis (The Shield) as Slade Wilson and as you’ll see, it doesn’t hold back on the blood and violence. It looks like it’ll be a wild and entertaining series!

Sony recently shared a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming Spider-Man PS4 game that revealed several new villains including Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, Kingpin, Mr. Negative, and Electro.

Now it seems another classic villain has accidentally been revealed. This may be considered a spoiler, at the same time it seems pretty obvious.

The big reveal came from a voice actor who was working on the game. Chris Jai Alex provides the voice of Rhino and during a recent interview with YouTuber Drift0r, he talks about the challenges of creating a certain fight scene because all of the villains scale differently, and it's at this point that he mentions Doctor Octopus.

A voice actor working on Insomniac’s “Spider-Man” game accidentally revealed that a classic Spidey villain makes an appearance, according to Eurogamer.

(Spoilers, obviously.)

Chris Jai Alex plays Rhino in the game. I know many people who would rejoice at the fact that The Thundercats would be returning to TV again. To see Lion-o, wielding the Sword of Omens once more, vanquishing Mum-Ra and his minions would be fantastic. I know I’d be looking forward to it and when Cartoon Network told us just that I was intrigued. Right up until I saw what was in store for us with the upcoming Thundercats Roar!

Recently, CBS revealed the new,official synopsis/description for their upcoming "Supergirl" episode 10 of season 1. The episode is entitled, "Childish Things," and it turns out that we're going to see some really interesting and high drama stuff take place as Cat ends up offering Lucy a job at her company. London -- Universal Music Publishing has struck a deal with the husband-and-wife creative team of Sascha and Tessa Hartmann -- who have spent five years in production on the CGI-animated movie "Sir Billi" -- to publish five original songs for the movie.

In postproduction, the movie features the singing of Shirley Bassey and the voice of Sean Connery; the pair is together on a feature for the first time since they were both involved in "Goldfinger."

Universal will publish Bassey's version of the title song, "Guardian of the Highlands," with lyrics by Tessa Hartmann, who penned them with Bassey in mind.

Sascha Hartmann composed the music, and Tessa Hartmann wrote the lyrics for the five featured original songs.

Universal and Glasgow-based Billi Prods. remain tight-lipped about the four other artists being lined up for the songs, written by the Hartmanns.

The first images from Sir Billi, the animated film featuring the voice of Sean Connery, have arrived online. As we reported back November, the movie sounds like someone came up with it while enjoying every drug ever made: “The movie centers on a retired, skateboarding veterinarian who lives in a remote Scottish village and who spearheads the rescue of an illegal fugitive who also happens to be a beaver.” At the time, part of me thought, “That can’t possibly be right.” Who would make that? Sean Connery would make that. He’s a producer on the film who has been instrumental in getting it made.* It’s also the first film he’s done since 2003’s The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

London -- The voices of Shirley Bassey and Sean Connery have been drawn together on a feature for the first time since they were both involved in "Goldfinger" back in the day.

Bassey has signed up to sing the title song named "Guardian of the Highlands" for the CGI animated movie "Sir Billi," which stars Connery's voice.

After five years in production, the feature created by husband-and-wife team Sascha and Tessa Hartmann is in postproduction and due for completion in 2010.

Alan Cumming, Miriam Margolyes, Ruby Wax, Alex Norton, Ford Kiernan, Greg Hempill, Barbara Rafferty, John Amabile, Larry Sullivan and U.S.-based newcomer Chris Jai Alex also lend voices to the movie.

Sascha Hartmann said the title track was penned with Bassey in mind and after her management was approached to do it, the singer agreed.

Every once in a while in the world of cinema, the imagery and the music blend so harmoniously and magnificently that they attain legendary status; it's hard to imagine any other combination working quite so well.
