Bringing back the era of World War II will be yet another film that is Tigmanshu Dhulia's Raagdesh. The film, which is supposedly based on the infamous Red Fort trials that sparked an outrage, will go on floor in Mumbai by the end of June.
The film is based on the torturous trials of ten Indian National Army officers out of which first three, namely Colonel Prem Sahgal, Colonel Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon and Major General Shah Nawaz Khan were considered to be the most celebrated ones. Kunal Kapoor of Rang De Basanti fame and Fugly boy Mohit Marwah have been roped in as two leads in the film. The schedule of the film was supposed to kick start earlier this month in Dehradun but has now been shifted to the city which will start at Film City by the end of this month.
Revealing details was the MD of Tigmanshu's company, Sujay Shankarawar, who stated that they are looking for yet one another leading man and since the film is based on 40s, the team too was required to do an extensive research on the same, hence the delay.

Kader Khan, who was in Dubai for a while, owing to his ill health, recently returned to India and is back in action too! The actor has produced a film titled In Your Arms. The film will star three generations of the Khan family which includes Kader Khan himself, his sons Sarfaraz and Shah Nawaz Ali along with his eight year old grandson Hamzaa (Sarfaraz's son).
The film is about the relationship between a husband and a wife who are on the verge of a divorce. Moreover, the film will have all of them playing different roles unlike the yesteryear hit Kal Aaj Aur Kal, which had the Kapoor family reprising their real life roles.

Ram Gopal Varma arranged a special screening of The Attacks of 26/11 for Senior Bjp leader Lal Krishna Advani at the national capital. Advani was present there along with various other leaders who cut across party lines to watch the film. Advani was moved to tears in the climax of the film. ‘Brilliant’ is what the senior politician expressed after watching the cinematic interpretation of the 26/11 tragedy.

Just a couple of days back we reported about veteran actor Kader Khan making a comeback in films with his directorial venture, Parchhaiyan. Well, now we hear that the actor's younger son Shah Nawaz is all set to make his Bollywood debut with a comedy film titled Nawabi Sharabi. The film revolves around a young man and his uncle and takes place during the course of one night. Nawaz who plays the young man will be sharing screen space with his real life father Kader Khan, who plays his uncle in the film. Nawabi Sharabi is the directorial debut of Mridul Tulsidas and is the story of a Kolkata-based Gujarati family that spends all their money on drinking and partying and is eventually left only with Rs. 1. How they plan their night with that one rupee and how it changes their life for the better is the crux of the storyline.
