‘Wingman’ First Look: Kayla Wallace, Harland Williams & Jamie Kennedy In Comedy Love Story Gone Wrong
Image
Exclusive: Here’s a first look at Harland Williams’ upcoming indie comedy feature Wingman ahead of an advanced screening in Toronto today.

Starring Williams, Kayla Wallace, Jamie Kennedy, Russell Peters, David Lipper and Shiva Negar, the feature revolves around Bob (Evan Marsh) who turns to Turk (Williams), a self-proclaimed ‘wingman’ who helps men navigate the dating world despite often disastrous results, in a last-ditch effort to win back his ex-fiancée, Terri (Negar). The duo embark on a series of wild misadventures, with Turk’s extreme coaching tactics pushing Bob into increasingly unpredictable and outrageous situations.

The film had a live performance featuring Williams and Kennedy last night at the Royal Alexandra Theatre and is set for a screening at Toronto’s X Hotel Theatre tonight

The stills show Turk alongside his loyal assistant Holly (Wallace) and another of him at a mystery bar with Eddie (Kennedy), a rival wingman with other plans for Bob.

Edie Falco
Actors of all kinds, from A-list movie stars and Broadway veterans to up-and-comers, turned up at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on Valentine’s night to pay tribute to the Naked Angels’ 25th anniversary. The Naked Angels company has been nurturing the careers of theater types and encouraging provocative storytelling since 1986, and the stars showed up in droves to show their appreciation.

The night started out with a very crowded VIP cocktail reception. I spotted Edie Falco catching up with her Sopranos costar and recent Top Chef guest judge Lorraine Bracco — both were gorgeous and looked years younger...

Sad News — Friends And Family Mourn As Corey Haim Is Laid To Rest in His Hometown
Hundreds of fans and family members packed into a Toronto chapel today for Corey Haim’s memorial and burial services.

After an emotional funeral service Corey Haim was buried in his final resting place in his hometown on Mar. 16. More than two hundred friends and family members gathered and overflowed from the Steeles Memorial Chapel, where the private funeral service was held at 11 am. Those who could not fit into the chapel stood on the chapel lawn while inside Corey’s best friend (not Corey Feldman) an aunt and a cousin gave speeches. After a 45 minute service, a long funeral procession including seven police cars led friends and family to where Corey would be buried —the Pardes Shalom Cemetery. Afterwards, the family held a private shivah. Corey’s childhood Hollywood friend Corey Feldman did not attend the funeral out of respect for the family. He is expected to hold a...
