It’s hard to believe Community ended over 10 years ago!

The comedy series – starring Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Ken Jeong, Chevy Chase, and Jim Rash – ran on NBC for five seasons between 2009 and 2014 before the sixth and final season aired on Yahoo! Screen in 2015.

The show followed disbarred lawyer Jeff Winger (McHale), who enrolled in a local community college and formed a study group with fellow students, who eventually learn more about themselves than their course work.

Seth Rogen is the odds-on favorite to win so many Emmys for The Studio, he'll need to bring a mantelpiece as his plus-one.

According to Gold Derby's predictions for the 2025 Emmys, Rogen is out front to win Best Comedy Series (for which he's a producer), Best Comedy Actor, and Best Comedy Directing (for "The Oner"). Plus, he's the runner-up in Best Comedy Writing (for "The Promotion"), behind only the Hacks showrunning trio of Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs, and Jen Statsky (for "A Slippery Slope").

As we may have mentioned once or twice in the past, working on Community wasn’t always the easiest job, thanks in large part to Caddyshack star/toilet fortune heir Chevy Chase.

The former Saturday Night Live cast member famously antagonized his co-stars, lobbing racist insults at Yvette Nicole Brown and Donald Glover — sometimes involving the N-word — and straight-up physically fighting Joel McHale. Meaning that the only way Chase’s going to be in the Community movie is if a fan edits him in using clips from old National Lampoon movies.

Also contentious was the relationship between Chase and creator Dan Harmon, who isn't exactly known for being the chillest personality to deal with either. Famously, Harmon “publicly reprimanded Chase in front of his family and colleagues” during a wrap party, allowing frustrated crew members to collectively, cathartically shout, “Fuck you, Chevy!”

Plans to bring the Community gang back together for a reunion movie have been on the table for years, but the project has yet to officially set a production start date. Star Alison Brie has commented on the current status of the film, but it's a disappointing update for fans.

Brie addressed the film while at San Diego Comic-Con to promote her new movie, Together, via ScreenRant. When asked about an update on Community: The Movie, Brie said there was nothing whatsoever new to report. She then shared that the project is "sort of paused," still with no concrete plans to actually start filming.

"I truly have nothing to say about the Community movie," Brie stated. "It's sort of paused, and we're all -- I know the cast is really rooting for it. We all love each other so much and would love to get back on set someday."

Speaking with Cbr's Sean O'Connell at the Ironheart press junket, Thorne discussed what lies next for Riri after her Disney+ series and which heroes she'd want to team up with specifically. Rather than any Avenger, Thorne wants Riri to have "an X-Men pairing" in Phase 6 and beyond. She told O'Connell, "I would love to see her with Charles Xavier. I would just love to see her be met with that level of---or even Magneto---of that level of intellect."

Thorne added:

I think it would really humble Riri in a cool way. And I would be curious to see who she would become, and how she would walk away from that experience. Because clearly we're seeing how she walked away from the Wakanda experience, even more motivated, even more ambitious.
