Bryce (James Maslow) is a hard-charging Hollywood agent, whose most important client is movie star Madison Belle (Ciara Hanna). When he is called back to his 15th high school reunion in small town Alabama, he recruits Madison to be his pretend girlfriend, because most of his friends have settled down. The romantic sparks start to fly between them, but first they must deal with Madison’s ex, a rock star named Zane (Zebedee Row).

“Stars Fell on Alabama” is available now through Video-On-Demand. Featuring James Maslow, Ciara Hanna, Taylor Hicks, Lesa Wilson, Johnnie Mack and Zebedee Row. Written by Robert Windom. Directed by V.W. Scheich. Rated “PG-13”

The past year — and even the events of the past week in this country has been a struggle for a lot of people. More specifically, the pandemic and Covid-19 has claimed the lives of over 360,000 people and there are thousands of families in mourning. They are grieving — and this includes children. The virtual release of Katrine Philp’s documentary, Beautiful Something Left Behind speaks to this exact topic.

Beautiful Something Left Behind was filmed long before the pandemic and debuted at SXSW in 2020 where it won Best Documentary Feature under the title An Elephant in the Room.
