“Prologue Demo” Available Now for Throwback Survival Horror Game ‘Loggerhead’ [Trailer]
Those of you keen on trying out Affordable Cat’s throwback Survival Horror title Loggerhead since it was revealed back in September 2022 are in luck. The solo developer has released the Loggerhead Prologue Demo to Steam and itch.io, which will provide you with around 20-30 minutes of gameplay.

The Loggerhead Prologue Demo sees you navigating the low-fi VHS aesthetic, reminiscent of classic horror titles. Loggerhead sports other Survival Horror throwbacks, with tank controls, fixed camera angles, limited resources, bad haircuts and of course, cringe-worthy voice acting. Players will choose between the two main characters, Daryl and Tracey, exploring, solving puzzles and facing off against ghoulish adversaries. All the while, the game “fearlessly embraces Australia’s 1980s cultural cringe”, injecting humor and local references for both Australian and global players.
