These lows have left parts of the falls frozen, with snow and mist covering the surrounding area. While a giant vat of ice chunks and frigid water doesn't sound too inviting, Niagara Falls' winter transformation has actually brought more tourists to the landmark. These visitors are capturing stunning photos and video of what nature's wrath can do. The falls may look frozen solid in some shots, but there is still water flowing under the ice.
