Tiwana Floyd is a multi-talented artist as diverse as the NYC subway system. An actress, writer, director, editor, and content creator, she infuses story-lines with a unique blend of authority, quirky, whimsical, and dark humor. A testament to her talent, Tiwana was honored as a fellow, writing and performing in the NBC-sponsored Second City Hollywood, Bob Curry Fellowship Showcase in 2019. She is a distinguished alumna of The Second City Hollywood's conservatory and directing programs and utilized her skills in writing, performing, and directing to self-produce two micro-shorts, "A Sense of Belonging" and "Alone Together," which premiered in experimental film festivals.

A Bronx, New York native and an original "Around The Way Girl," Tiwana's entertainment career began with Hip-Hop, a B-girl, dancing in choreographed music videos and tours for Hip-Hop legends LL Cool J, Rob Base, and DMX, and regular appearances on MTV's "The Grind" during the vibrant New Jack Swing era.

Originally setting her sights on a career in forensic psychology, Tiwana Floyd's path took a dramatic turn after being deeply moved by Harry Connick Jr.'s chilling serial killer performance in the film "Copycat." This profound experience redirected her passion for understanding human behavior, criminal and civil law, into creating compelling law and order characters on both screen and stage.

Tiwana Floyd is deeply committed to empowering fellow actors alongside her performance work. She devotes time to helping actors find the path of least resistance in their careers as a solopreneur of her podcast and YouTube channel, "Acting Lessons Learned." Here, she shares invaluable insights and experiences to guide upcoming actors in navigating the industry with ease and grace.
