Beth Ditto, lead singer of the indie rock band The Gossip, was arrested early Saturday morning in Portland, Ore., after she allegedly got extremely drunk, walked out in the middle of the street, blocked traffic and began yelling. According to Portland Police Department spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson, cops were called to the scene and found the 32-year-old Ditto, real name Mary Beth Patterson, "standing in the middle of the street with her arms extended from her sides like an airplane."
