"I know you're confused, but if you want to survive, you need to do exactly as I say." What would you do if this happened to you? Can anyone even answer that question accurately? It's too scary! Play Me is a freaky horror short from filmmaker Caleb J. Phillips, best known as the creator of the other horror short Other Side of the Box (2018). A woman wakes up in a car with no memory of how she got there, and finds a man tied up in the back seat. Stranger still, she finds a recording with her voice telling her what to do next. This stars Lindsey Garrett as Elizabeth, and Josh Schell as the stranger. This is a clever concept for a horror short, fueled by the psychological mayhem that everyone is experiencing - the characters and viewers. Who do you trust? I'm not a big fan of the ending,...

"No man can resist her..." Chiller Films has released a trailer for the new horror thriller SiREN, adapted from one of the segments in the original V/H/S horror anthology film. SiREN is a feature length version of the segment about the woman who two guys hire for a bachelor party, who turns out to be a crazy monster. You'll know exactly which one this is, as it was one of the best segments from the original V/H/S. SiREN stars Hannah Fierman as Lily, plus Chase Williamson, Justin Welborn, Michael Aaron Milligan, Hayes Mercure, Randy McDowell and Lindsey Garrett. It's cool to see them turning that one part of V/H/S into a full-length film, I'm just not sure if this is going to be too cheesy or just the right amount of creepy. There's all kinds of weird stuff going on in this, but I...

While the 2012 horror anthology V/H/S may be uneven overall, there can be little doubt that “Amateur Night,” the segment written and directed by David Bruckner, is one of the highlights of the film. The found footage short about a group of dudebros who pick up an odd girl (Hannah Fierman) who turns out to be more than they expected, is funny and scary in the best EC Comics tradition. Because it works so beautifully as a self-contained short, it also doesn’t seem like the most obvious candidate to be adapted into a full feature film. Enter director Gregg Bishop and his new movie, Siren.
Using the same basic premise as its jumping-off point—a group of guys get more than they bargained for when they cross paths with the title character—Siren inverts the dynamics of the original short by telling the story of more or less...

Russell Brand had an angry clash with a Channel 4 news reporter, when the interviewer switched the subject from Brand's campaign for the tenants in the New Era estate to the comedian's own personal property details.
Brand started the interview amicably, revealing that he had been inspired to campaign for the 93 families who are facing eviction from the Hoxton area because the "sense of lack of power" reminded him of his own youth.
However, the interview quickly turned sour when the interviewer suggested that Brand was part of the housing problem in London. He challenged Brand to reveal how much he paid for his London home, but the comic reacted angrily, pointing out that the reporter was "distracting" from the real issues.
"I'm not interested in chatting about my rent, mate, I'm here to support a very, very important campaign, and you as a member of the media have...

Just when we thought we couldn't get any more excited about the return of "The Vampire Diaries" and, yes, even "The Secret Circle" this coming Thursday night, March 15th, we have a new promo teaser for the pair along with clips from each show.
"The Vampire Diaries" Episode 3.16 "1912" (3/15/12 Air Date; 8:00-9:00 Pm):
The Murder Mystery Deepens — The present-day murders in Mystic Falls remind Damon (Ian Somerhalder) of a similar crime spree a century earlier. In flashbacks to 1912, Damon recalls a beautiful vampire, Sage (guest star Cassidy Freeman), who showed him a whole new way to exist.
Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) warns Damon not to get involved in her investigation, but Damon is convinced she’s going after the wrong suspect. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Matt (Zach Roerig) resort to breaking and entering in their search for evidence to prove Dr. Fell (guest star Torrey Devitto) is a murderer.

What's this? No more episodes of our favorite CW shows until mid-March? Well, to tide us over until then, we have previews of the returning episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" (Ep. 3.16, "1912") and "The Secret Circle" (Ep. 1.16, "Lucky"), both of which air on March 15th.
Starting with "Tvd", "1912" introduces us to Sage (guest star Cassidy Freeman, "Smallville"), who is here with a message: Women are not just for food, they're for pleasure. In addition we'll meet Samantha Gilbert (guest star Lindsey Garrett), one of Elena's ancestors who interacts with both Salvatore brothers. From past experience, the series' flashback episodes are among our favorites so the 15th can't get here soon enough!
As for "Tsc", we don't know how much sillier this show can get! It's seeming more and more like exec producer Kevin Williamson is hands off because we can't imagine him going along with some of this stuff. In any event,...
