Young Couple Faces Ocd Diagnosis In SXSW Film Pure O [Exclusive Clip]
Image
The 2023 SXSW Film Festival has prepared a powerful slate once again, and Screen Rant is proud to present an exclusive clip from one of its Narrative Feature Competition entries: Pure O. Written and directed by Dillon Tucker, Pure O tells the semi-autobiographical story of one man's internal struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder and the external effects it has on his loved ones. The film stars Daniel Dorr (20th Century Woman), Hope Lauren (The Republic of Sarah), Landry Bender (Fuller House), and Jeffery A. Baker.

Pure O follows Cooper Ganz (Dorr), an aspiring screenwriter and musician whose story is inspired by Tucker's own life. His ambitions begin to crumble after he is diagnosed with a rare form of Ocd known as "Pure Obsessional." Though he is going through the darkest moment of his life, he fights to keep himself together for the sake of his fiancée Emily (Lauren), his family, and his friends.

You didn't really think the Thanksgiving holiday would come and go without a new glimpse at ThanksKilling 3, did you? Ventures has unleashed a special "brown band" trailer for this horror-comedy, that centers on the evil Turkie trying to find the last copy of ThanksKilling 2. Don't let the "brown band" tag fool you, this is really an age-restricted red band trailer, full of naughty language and violent turkey (puppet) deaths. In other words, don't put this on display for your sweet old grandmother or that impressionable young relative. This is just for the adults only, perhaps over an after-dinner drink with your cool uncle. Behold the lunacy of ThanksKilling 3. Gobble gobble motherf^&*er!

ThanksKilling 3 -&#160Trailer

In ThanksKilling 3, the fowl-mouthed villain Turkie is back and hacking his way to find the last copy of "ThanksKilling 2" which has landed in the hands of a group of disturbingly crude puppets.

The death toll rises as Turkie carves through the likes of Flowis the rapping grandma, Rhonda the bisexual space worm, Yomi the puppet in search of her mind, and their equally ridiculous friends who all travel through fantastical settings such as the FeatherWorld and Turkey Hell. With the guidance of Uncle Donny,...

Do you know any completists? You know, those guys or gals that have to buy every DVD in a franchise, or every comic in a run, or every Star Wars action figure ever made, no matter how bad or money-wasting it seems? Well, the makers of the cult horror comedy Thankskilling hate those people, and to intentionally irritate them, they've skipped the sequel, going straight to the worst known number in the franchise list, that big ol' 3! Yes, ThanksKilling 3 is coming to theaters this Thanksgiving, and its sure to make a couple of you itch in a hemorrhoid way. Today, we have the first official poster, along with some of the mock Part 2 posters that tease the non-existent film our Turkie goes searching for in this gruesome, gory throwback to puppet movies of yesteryear.
