Netflix is creating a pop-up restaurant on June 30 in Los Angeles featuring dishes by some of the streamer’s most popular chef and drink masters.

The dining experience will spotlight chefs from Netflix’s beloved culinary shows including “Chef’s Table,” “Is It Cake?” and “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.” For the first time, attendees will be able to get a taste of their favorite Netflix series.

Netflix is going to put that to the test, as it expands into an entirely new category: the restaurant business.

Netflix will launch a pop-up restaurant in Los Angeles on June 30. Called Netflix Bites, the food concept will be built around an “elevated dining experience” featuring chefs featured in various Netflix shows.

Among the chefs participating are Curtis Stone, Ming Tsai and Andrew Zimmern of Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend; Dominique Crenn of Chef’s Table and Iron Chef; Rodney Scott and Ann Kim of Chef’s Table; Nadiya Hussain of Nadiya Bakes; and Jacques Torres of Nailed It! Season seven of Netflix’s addictive baking series Nailed It! has a Halloween theme, with home bakers cooking up some truly bizarre and actually a little scary creations that are meant to resemble Halloween treats. The Halloween-centric season shows off its culinary “delights” on October 5, 2022.

The unscripted cooking competition series’ seventh season consists of four 45-minute episodes hosted by Nicole Byer. Byer also serves as a judge along with series regular Jacques Torres.

Antoni Porowski, the resident foodie on Netflix’s hit show “Queer Eye,” is taking his culinary talents to another reality series for the streamer.

In his first big swing outside of “Queer Eye,” Porowski will host and executive produce Netflix’s newest cooking competition series, “Easy-Bake Battle.” It already completed filming and will be released in the fall.

Inspired by the popular children’s toy, “Easy-Bake Battle” spotlights home chefs who go head-to-head in two rounds of savory and sweet challenges using only an Easy-Bake-style oven. Adult cooks — unlike the miniature kitchen appliance, this competition series is not suited for children — will compete for 25,000 in each battle. The winner has the chance to win up to 100,000.

Netflix’s hot mess of a baking competition series “Nailed It!” debuts its sixth season Wednesday. In honor of the the show’s return, we spoke with judge and co-host Jacques Torres about how these amateur bakers could actually win the reality contest — even though most of them are predisposed to epic fails — by avoiding the “biggest mistake” he and co-host Nicole Byer have seen.

“We always have at least one baker, sometimes three bakers, that forget the clock,” Torres, who is known as Mr. Chocolate for his world-renowned confections, tells TheWrap. “This is the biggest mistake that they make, they forget the clock. They forget that an hour and a half, or an hour and 25 minutes, come to an end. So they will take their time at the beginning.”

Netflix released a trailer for Season 6 of “Nailed It!,” which premieres Sept. 15.

In the new season, the bakers face even tougher challenges than ever before, including making paranormal pastries, celebrating Black history by creating edible versions of historical icons, and recreating chocolate masterpieces inspired by judge and chocolatier Jacques Torres.

The trailer, which you can watch below, begins with host Nicole Byer playing with edible versions of herself, Torres and assistant director Weston Bahr as she gears up to have the contestants create pastries in their likeness for a competition.

“I just love seeing the misfortune of others,” says actor Jack McBrayer, who appears as a contestant this season. Naturally, this line of dialogue is followed by him making a mistake of his own while baking.

While McBrayer is the only celebrity contestant this season, celebrity judge in Season 6 include Wayne Brady, Sam Richardson, Reggie Watts, Big Freedia, June Diane Raphael and Sasheer Zamata.

“The Great British Baking Show” will be back on Netflix to warn against the dangers of soggy bottoms later this year.

While no specific premiere date has been set, Collection 9 of the popular baking competition series will debut on the streamer this fall. Collection 8 debuted back in September, with Netflix releasing episodes three days after they ran in the U.K.

The show follows a group of amateur bakers as they are put through their paces in a series of weekly challenges by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. One contestant is eliminated each week, and the winner is selected from the contestants who reach the finals.

Letty Kavanagh, Richard McKerrow, and Kieran Smith serve as executive producers, with series producer Jenna Mansfield serving as showrunner. Love Productions produces the series.

Netflix also made several other announcements regarding its slate of baking shows. First up, “Bake Squad” hosted by Christina Tosi will debut on Aug.

Netflix will be breaking your “The Great British Baking Show” fast this fall with the Season 9 premiere of the competition, the streaming service said Wednesday.

Along with the announcement that the “Great British Baking Show” hit will be returning this fall, Netflix revealed it has ordered three new sweets-centric unscripted series — “Baking Impossible” and “School of Chocolate” — and will also be debuting the sixth season of “Nailed It!” in September.

As previously announced, baking contest “Bake Squad,” from Milk Bar founder Christina Tosi, will debut next week on Netflix.

On Tuesday, Netflix shared the trailer for the second season of Nailed It! Holiday!, which drops on Nov. 22. Exclusive: Netflix has issued the second season trailer for “Sugar Rush,” the baking competition series where contestants battle each other and the clock.

The series will return to Netflix with six new episodes on Friday, July 26. The second season of “Sugar Rush” brings back host Hunter March with world-class pastry chefs Candace Nelson and Adriano Zumbo judging the competition bakers. Guest judges include Paris Berelc,Jackie Sorkin, Carla Hall, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Jacques Torres and Irene Choi, as the time-constrained baking teams incorporate themes like Science, Trending, Family, and Love into their baking creations.

Sugar Rush is produced by Magical Elves with Executive Producer Doneen Arquines serving as showrunner, and Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Casey Kriley, Candace Nelson and Tara Siener also serving as executive producers.

Nailed It host Nicole Byer says her exclusion from an image promoting the Netflix show was resolved after she raised the issue on social media.

Byer was reacting to a tweet (since deleted) from a fan of the show who noted that the thumbnail image Netflix used to promote Nailed It featured her co-host, Jacques Torres, and "Wes," an assistant director and occasional onscreen presence — but not Byer.

Nailed It!, Netflix’s home baking competition, is getting local versions in France, Spain and Germany following the launch of a remake in Mexico.

The series, which sees home bakers with a terrible track record take a shot at re-creating edible masterpieces for a cash prize, originally launched in the U.S. hosted by Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres in March 2018.

The Magical Elves-produced show was followed by a second season in June and a holiday special in December.

The Svod service then launched a remake in Mexico in February that was hosted by comedian Omar Chaparro and chef Anna Ruiz with a series of guest judges including Sylvia Weinstock.

Following its first quarter financial results, Netflix revealed that the Mexican version had been a hit locally. In a letter to investors, it noted, “¡Nailed It!: México [achieved] three times more first-month watchers in Mexico than the dubbed Us version.

As Jacques Torres' profile is getting bigger, his waistline is getting smaller. The French chocolatier and pastry chef is back for Nailed It! Holiday, which debuted Dec. 7 on Netflix.
