Image
Here’s why Dave Bautista worked hard to break his s*x addiction (Photo Credit – Instagram)

Popularly known as the WWE Superstar, Dave Bautista rose to fame after his successful career as a professional wrestler. The actor who became a six-time world champion was a wrestling icon, but his aspirations beyond the ring landed him in the Hollywood industry. After starring in films like Guardians of the Galaxy as Drax the Destroyer and Dune, Bautista found massive success in the film industry. Despite his widespread acclaim, Bautista’s past life wasn’t always easy for him as he regrets some past decisions.

Dave Bautista’s S*x Addiction

Former WWE star Kelly Kelly sizzles in skimpy bikini as Little Bo Peep
Image
Former wrestling star Barbie Blank poses for a selfie in her car. Pic credit: @thebarbieblank/Instagram

Former WWE superstar Kelly Kelly, real name Barbie Blank Coba, has shared another stunning series of images with her social media followers.

Earlier this week, the 35-year-old model and social media influencer took to Instagram, showing her “Little Bo Peep” look, years after donning that costume in the wrestling ring.

For the updated costume, Barbie wore a skimpy blue gingham print crinkle bikini top from Pretty Little Thing and matching bikini bottoms that feature crisscrossing straps as part of the wraparound design.

Her gorgeous costume included white socks, sneakers, a white bow behind her head, and a thin gold necklace with a small charm.

She was all smiles, with her long blond locks flowing down the front and back of her shoulders as she posed in front of a bicycle, possibly in front of her home’s garage.

Nashville Recap: Emancipated Whiner
Layla El
Nashville, when I said I wanted Maddie out of sight and more Rayna/Deacon scenes, this isn’t exactly what I meant.

Because Maddie’s decision to run away from home in Wednesday’s episode not only puts the hour’s focus on the truculent teen, it gives us plenty of Jaymes/Claybourne family turmoil that yes, gives us Rayna and Deacon in the same space, but also leaves the newlyweds snapping at each other in their worry over their missing daughter.

(Does anyone have Colt’s grandpa’s phone number? He’s got a track record of helping overindulged kids mature into young adults,...

WWE 2K16 Final Roster Reveal – Who’s Made The Cut?
Ing, 2K

What has been billed as the final batch of Superstars for WWE 2K16 has been confirmed this afternoon.

Here are the names in full: Bray Wyatt, Mikey Whipwreck, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & Big E), Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady, Stunning Steve Austin, Superstar Steve Austin, Rusev, American Bad Ass Undertaker, Baron Corbin, Brian Pillman, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Konnor, Viktor, Mark Henry, Ministry Undertaker, Ricky Steamboat, Savio Vega, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, Sting ’99, Sting Blonde and finally the two Terminator renders.

The new names show how in-depth the Stone Cold mode will be. It looks like we’re going to be travelling right through his days as a Hollywood Blonde with Brian Pillman and that feud with Ricky Steamboat, stopping off for a cup of coffee in Ecw to feud with Mikey Whipwreck (and maybe Sandman?), and then going through his main run in WWE, including the 2001 Royal Rumble.

How Tough Enough Has Changed WWE Diva Search
WWE.com

WWE is bringing back the Diva Search to WWE Network this year, but they are still working on the structure of the show, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The format was going to be like Tough Enough likely with a host, coaches and judges, but WWE has recognized the issues they have with the Tough Enough. They feel like since the format hasn’t worked that well that they need to make some changes to what they had planned for the Divas Search.

Since WWE hasn’t announced anything in terms of a casting call or application process, they may have a tough time fitting in this year. It takes time to set something up like that. Perhaps there will be some sort of formal announcement in the coming weeks after Tough Enough is over at the end of August.

It’s interesting that they...

Layla Retires From WWE
WWE.com

Layla El, who won the 2006 WWE Diva Search contest, announced her retirement from the company Wednesday, ending her employment almost exactly nine years after it began. A former WWE Women’s and Divas Champion, Layla was the most-tenured member of the WWE women’s locker room.

Debuting shortly after winning the 2006 Diva Search Contest – which also gave us Maryse and Rosa Mendes – Layla made her first impact as part of Extreme Expose in the relaunched Ecw alongside Kelly Kelly and Brooke Adams. The British beauty made her mark by joining fellow countryman William Regal, managing him to an Intercontinental Championship.

WWE.com

Layla would then move over to Smackdown, where she and Michelle McCool would form the WWE’s version of Mean Girls (or Tna’s Beautiful People), LayCool. The duo would torment women for more than a year-and-a-half, most notably Mickie James in a widely panned storyline...

Paul Heyman, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Randy Orton, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Ryan Reeves in Hell in a Cell (2013)
'WWE Raw:' Who's Afraid of Seth Rollins?
Paul Heyman, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Randy Orton, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Ryan Reeves in Hell in a Cell (2013)
As was made very clear by Big Show's awkward references to "Hot Atlanta" and Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes' ornamental inclusion, last night's Raw did indeed take place in the Peach State's proud capital city. And convenient as it would be to suggest all three hours were the pits, that would be a fuzzy recounting of events.

For those who like their action between the bells, Raw offered its most filler-free installment in recent memory, buoyed by unexpected booking swerves that kept anticipation high from opening bout to main event.

‘WWE Money in the Bank 2014′ Blu-ray Review
One of the more interesting of WWE’s annual b-shows, Money in the Bank is the night of the year where a younger talent has the chance to grab the contract that sets them up for a built-in storyline and eventual chance at winning the WWE World Title. Here, there are two ladder matches, one for the contract and one for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Daniel Bryan, who was forced to relinquish his WWE World Title due to a neck injury, appeared on the pre-show/kick-off show and told the world that he was still suffering effects of his injury and may still require further surgery, Bryan then promised he would be back as soon as he could and win back the WWE World Title. Time will tell, but I have a sinking feeling that Bryan’s time as “the guy” are behind us.

10 WWE Divas Who Never Held A Title
WWE.com

Every time we hear Michael Cole try to attach some sort of prestige to the WWE Divas Championship, it’s hard not to snicker a little. While it’s fair that Aj Lee’s 295-day title reign did help restore some sanity, there was a period where it seemed like every Diva on the roster was a former champ – and it almost was true.

At WrestleMania Xxvi in 2010, the Divas division was on full display in a 10-woman match that ended when the only non-wrestler in the bunch, Vickie Guerrero, hit a “hog splash” (as the announcers called it) for the win. What’s noteworthy is that all nine of the other Divas who participated in the match (Michelle McCool, Maryse, Alicia Fox, Layla, Beth Phoenix, Eve, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim) at one point or another held either the Divas Championship or the WWE Women’s Championship.

WWE Main Event Results – July 23, 2014
WWE.com

The WWE Main Event show is exclusively shown on WWE Network every Tuesday at 8pmET. If you miss the show live it’s easy to access in the WWE Network’s library by clicking on Shows, then In Ring and you’ll find it right there.

We plan on writing about it weekly here on WhatCulture in a one page post with a recap of the matches, key segments and thoughts on the characters involved as well. While it’s not a show with major segments or “can’t miss” moments that Raw has, we feel it’s worthwhile so we’re going to cover it.

At the start of the show they advertised Rusev vs. Jack Swagger. On Raw they said it was going to be Rusev against Sheamus. It just shows how quick they are to change their mind.

WWE Raw: Results & Review (21.4.14)
We are on our way to Extreme Rules, the annual WWE show where feuds are heated up, often with anything goes stipulations added to the matches. The post-WrestleMania content that WWE produces is important and sets the tone for the rest of the year before the “Road to WrestleMania” begins again.

We are live from Baltimore, Maryland tonight, and with feuds such as Bryan/Kane, Evolution/Shield and the Intercontinental Title Contender Tournament to keep our eyes on, it should be an interesting night. My thoughts go to Daniel Bryan also, who lost his father this past week. After experiencing such professional and personal highs in the past fortnight, with his winning of the WWE World Title at ‘Mania, and his marriage to Brie Bella, this must have been a huge blow. Bryan still worked this Raw, which is testament to his respect for the fans, who I’m sure...

WWE Raw: Results & Review (14.4.14)
A week ago we saw the post-WrestleMania Raw which featured plenty of memorable moments and set the wheels in motion for a new era of WWE to begin, so this week was one that I was excited to see.

Sadly, since his appearance on last weeks’ episode of Raw, The Ultimate Warrior passed away due to events related with heart disease. This week’s episode begins with the WWE roster on the stage, showing respect for the fallen Hall of Famer as the bell tolls ten times. Another pro-wrestler gone far too soon.

The match results:

Rvd beat Alberto Del Rio in an I-c tournament qualifying match Rybaxel defeated Cody Rhodes & Goldust Paige beat Alicia Fox via submission The Uso’s vs. Randy Orton & Batista went to a no-contest Cesaro pinned Mark Henry in an I-c tournament qualifying match Alexander Rusev squashed Xavier Woods Sheamus beat Jack Swagger in an...

'WrestleMania XXX' preview: Prepare for Sunday with a trip down the WWE Network rabbit hole
This Sunday is the biggest day on the calendar year for those of us who still prefer this Steve Austin over the one from The Six Million Dollar Man and who still get the urge to patriotically tear off our shirts whenever this terrible Rick Derringer song kicks in. It’s WrestleMania XXX (that’s XXX as in “30,” not in porn terms), and it’s airing live from New Orleans on Sunday night.

I’m particularly excited for this iteration of the show thanks to the development that has completely re-aligned the way I watch and think about the WWE’s theatrical grappling arts.

‘WWE WrestleMania XXX’ Preview
So, we’re almost there. The biggest professional wrestling show of the year is about to happen, WrestleMania XXX, and so, before it does happen, let’s take a look at the matches that are currently being planned for the New Orleans supershow on April 7th.

WWE confirmed a couple of weeks ago that there would be a two hour pre-show airing on YouTube, WWE.com and the WWE Network in various ways. The pre-show is set to include an star-panel that will discuss the upcoming matches and give their thoughts. We will also get some pre-show in-ring action to wet our appetite for the main card.

WWE 2K14: Full Roster Revealed
WWE and 2K Games have finally made the long-awaited roster announcement for their upcoming WWE 2K14 video game, boasting a surprisingly beefy line-up of over 80 superstars. In addition to the 30 Years of WrestleMania roster already announced, we were given a full list of the WWE Superstars and Divas who would be filling out 2K Games’ first time publishing a wrestling game (albeit still with the same developers as before, Yukes).

It’s safe to say that, as in every year, there are a few notable omissions from the roster – Curtis Axel, Rob Van Dam, Big E. Langston, The Usos, Fandango, and the Wyatt Family are conspicuously absent, while the likes of David Otunga somehow make the cut… – yet we can keep our fingers crossed that they might show up in Dlc somewhere down the line (though developers have already stated on Twitter that the Wyatts will 100% not be Dlc, because...

‘WWE Raw’ Results and Review (23.09.13)
Raw opens with Mr and Mrs Triple H making their way to the ring as the locker room members who helped Daniel Bryan on last week’s closing moments of Raw are standing on the stage. The Shield are standing beside the ring. Triple H talks about how he is proud of the superstars for stepping up and that they should be upset that Bryan is getting (another) WWE Championship match at Battleground. Triple H and Stephanie then make a big elimination 11 on 3 tag match for later on the show as The Shield take on Rvd, Bryan, The Uso’s, Prime Time Players, R Truth, Dolph Ziggler, Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston. The announcers and wrestlers look confused as to why Triple H and Stephanie have put The Shield in a difficult position. Something fishy is going on methinks.

Kofi Kingston is in the ring as we return from commercials,...

‘WWE Raw’ Results & Review (16.09.13)
Raw begins with the new WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan, making his way to the ring to a loud reaction from the Cleveland crowd. Bryan celebrates in the ring but is quickly interrupted by the COO of WWE, Triple H. Triple H tells Bryan that there was a fast count in his match at Night of Champions and brings out the official referee from that match, Scott Armstrong. Armstrong says that he and Bryan had worked together, and Triple H proceeds to strip Bryan of the title as Orton leaves him lying with an Rko.

Backstage, Stephanie tells Orton that he isn’t what he used to be and that they might have to find a different face of the company if he didn’t prove himself. Orton looks angry.

We go to the ring for a Noc rematch between Us Champion Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler. The match is like...

'WWE Raw' Sept. 16: Daniel Bryan's WWE Championship in jeopardy
WWE's "Night of Champions" ended on an awkward high note. Daniel Bryan won the WWE Championship --- again -- but it wasn't without some controversy. The referee's count was very fast, but it wasn't acknowledged by anyone.

The big news: Fast forward one night, and "WWE Raw" kicks off with Bryan heading to the ring with the title, as the crowd screams "Yes!" Daniel doesn't get much celebrating time before Triple H comes out. He points out the obvious fast count before making the referee, Scott Armstrong, head to the ring to explain himself.

Armstrong plays it off as some sort of conspiracy that he cooked up with Bryan, who says he played no part in it. Triple H strips Bryan of the title, leaving it vacant. If WWE wants fans to ever buy Daniel Bryan as a legitimate champion, having him only hold the title less than a...

WWE Smackdown Review (13.09.13)
Welcome to this weeks WWE Smackdown review and overview.

The show opens this week with Big Show making his way to the ring as the announcers sell how much he’s been through in the last few weeks. Big show reads from a piece of paper about how he did a bad job on Raw and apologises to Triple H and the other wrestlers. It’s obviously done to put Show over as a conflicted babyface who’s being forced to do things against his will by his tyrannical bosses. Triple H makes his way to the ring to a loud heel reaction. Hunter thanks Big Show for his apology and tells him that he isn’t picking on him, he’s just being a business man. Triple H is excellent in this role, I must say. Show sells frustration and anger in the ring as Triple H suspends him without pay for the night,...

WWE Raw Review: Did Bizarro World Make Sense For Daniel Bryan And Big Show?
There many different locations in the WWE universe that have garnered much respect. We have the sacred ground of Madison Square Garden, the Allstate arena in Chicago and the Boston Garden. But out of all locations WWE has been, there’s nothing more fun than when WWE goes to “Bizarro World” in Toronto Air Canada Center.. And it’s only fitting that the bizarre one Goldust returns this past Monday from Toronto to avenge his brother attempting to get Cody’s job back against the WWE champion, Randy Orton.

The night begins with the returning WWE Hall of Famer Edge coming home to Toronto and the company. The Rated R Superstar comes back to a racous reaction. He says that he loves being back but it wasn’t of his own accord. Edge says he was mandated by Triple H to have a reunion with his old partner not Christian...

WWE Raw Review (09.09.13)
Welcome to our weekly in-depth review of WWE Raw.

Raw is live from Toronto, Canada tonight and we start off the show with Toronto’s own, and WWE Hall of Famer, Edge. Edge gets a loud response from his hometown crowd and looking at his energy as he makes his way to the ring, he looks to have missed this wrestling gig. Edge says he was asked to come to Raw by Triple H because it would be “good for business” for Edge and Randy Orton to have a reunion, as they were former tag team partners. Edge says that talking to Randy Orton “is like watching paint dry”. The fans love Edge and his sarcasm and humorous remarks. Edge says he’s not interested in talking to Randy Orton, but has another guest in mind, and introduces Daniel Bryan, who gets a huge pop from the Canadian crowd.

'WWE Raw' Sept. 9: Edge returns, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton face off
"WWE Raw" was live from Toronto, Ontario, Canada for the last Monday night show before the "Night of Champions" pay per view. Company COO Triple H and his wife, Stephanie McMahon, have been running Raw with an iron fist, after declaring that Randy Orton was the new face of WWE. Somewhere, John Cena cried a little.

The big news: WWE Hall of Famer Edge returned, much to the delight of his hometown crowd. Unfortunately, it didn't last long as Triple H kicked him out of the building after the two hurled insults at each other. Edge built up Daniel Bryan as a viable contender for the WWE Championship, while Triple H continued to tear him down. It ended with Triple H's muscle, The Shield, beating up Edge's friend Christian. When Edge tried went after Hunter, he got kicked out of the building.

Elsewhere, Paul Heyman tried to weasel his...

This week’s Smackdown begins with the WWE roster standing on the stage area, as has become usual in the last couple of weeks, and Triple H is in the ring with Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox, which is guarded by the three members of The Shield. Hunter talks about the “firing” of Cody Rhodes that occurred on Raw, he then asks for the WWE roster to speak up, open up to him and tell him how they truly feel. The roster sheepishly looks around, only a couple of guys speak up. Kofi Kingston and Rob Van Dam. We also hear Ryback, Damien Sandow and Heath Slater sucking up to “The Game”. The segment ends with Triple H announcing that Daniel Bryan will have the chance to pick any member of The Shield to wrestle later on in the show. WWE Raw Review: Is The New McMahon-Helmsley Era – Corporate Evolution Or Ruthless Regression?
There’s no doubt there was a lot of outrage on the internet following the conclusion of WWE SummerSlam. There were a lot of questions with Triple H, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan as Raw rolled into Anaheim. In the city of the Anaheim Angels, was there a devil on the shoulder of The Game? What’s next for John Cena and is Daniel Bryan’s big push over? About a month ago, I asked the question is Daniel Bryan the new Stone Cold Steve Austin? Judging from this weeks episode It definitely seems like that’s the case. While he may not swearing or lewd he seems to be set up to be the main protagonist against the new McMahon-Helmsley regime.

The show begins with John Cena who comes out and explains that he is just as disgusted by the actions of Triple H. Cena says that Bryan deserves to be champion.

WWE Raw Review: Will The Viper Strike At SummerSlam And Be The New Corporate Champion?
Just a few weeks away from SummerSlam, WWE entered the Title Town of Green Bay, Wisconsin for this week’s Monday Night Raw. It was kind of fitting because the WWE Title was definitely the focus of this episode. As their encounter in Los Angeles gets closer Daniel Bryan and John Cena couldn’t get farther apart. The same can be said for the McMahon family themselves as the turmoil between Hunter, Stephanie and Vince finally seems to be boiling over. But will it lead to something we all want to see? Or will it bring serious venom and vitriol in the WWE universe?

The show begins at Stephanie McMahon recaps the last few weeks of strife between her husband and her father saying she found a compromise. The Vice President of Creative then says that Daniel Bryan agreed to the corporate makeover discussed last week. She shows a video...

WWE Nxt & Main Event: The Rise And Fall Of The Wyatt Family
This week’s edition of WWE Nxt comes to us from Providence, Rhode Island. Josh Matthews and the Miz welcome the audience on commentary as action begins with Christian versus Fandango. Now when you first hear those two are paired together, you would think the match was subpar . Far from the case, the former Johnny Curtis really brought it. Fandango seems to be on a roll when it comes to strong matches.

(And it should be mentioned that Summer Rae is awesome in her role. From her reactions to her mannerisms on the outside. She is so great and will probably go unappreciated by most fans. But she is awesome at what she does. She really adds a lot to the overall presentation of Fandango.)

Christian gets the victory with a surprise roll up. I’m sure Captain Charisma would’ve smiled more if he didn’t need a root...

WWE Raw Review: Looking At The “Cash for Gold Standard” Edition
Over the last few weeks, Raw has been very entertaining to say the least. With the rise of Daniel Bryan, the disintegration of the Punk- Heyman relationship and Kaitlyn and Aj battling it out, the show has felt more vibrant. However, even with all those elements still in play the show felt a little lackluster then in previous weeks.

The show begins not with a recap of last week as has been customary for the last few months, but with a cold open with Vickie Guerrero. The managing supervisor announces the champion versus champion main event with Alberto del Rio and John Cena.

This would lead to a showcase of great WWE and World Champions of their perspective eras. I like the pomp and circumstance of it all, but I think more often than not, regardless of how you hype the match it just doesn’t matter like used to.

WWE Raw Review: Looking At “Tea for Two and Two for Tea” UK Edition
When the WWE travels across the pond, you are often not sure what you’re going to get. Between the jet lag of the performers and the grueling schedule of the whole caravan of events. It can really be a mixed bag at times. But at least in my opinion that was not the case for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Much like a few weeks ago, the crowd plays a large part in that. The enthusiastic crowd in the 02 Arena kept the energy up with certain chants, which unlike New Jersey a few weeks ago wasn’t as distracting and disrespectful in some aspects. As they were trying to be the whole show they were just trying to enhancing the experience they were having which is when a crowd should do.

WWE: Does Kelly Kelly’s Departure Spell The Death of Female Wrestling in Us?
On Friday, WWE announced the release of former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly. There have been reports that Kelly had been rather disinterested with touring with the WWE, wanting to spend more time with her ice hockey boyfriend, and had been modelling under her real name, Barbie Blank. Kelly spent the last 6 years in the employment of the WWE, having started as a exhibitionist in the revamp Ecw. Much of her in-ring career was spent as a bit part player in a then much stronger women’s division. Despite this, she would become one of the more popular divas in during this time and would eventually become the face of the Diva division by 2011.

Kelly was by no means a brilliant in-ring worker, but Kelly had been the one of the few remaining ‘over’ divas in the WWE, and her release makes her the 5th female to be release from the...
