Kate Middleton has shared a new message in honor of Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom.
The parent of three — who shares Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, with Prince William — marked this occasion on March 30 with a touching tribute to Mother Nature.
In doing so, she also acknowledged the journey she has been on for the past many months.

“Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary,” Princess Kate captioned her Instagram post, which featured a video comprised various outdoor scenes.
This is a clear reference to Middleton having battled some form of cancer since around this same time in 2024.
Thankfully, as we learned in January, the Royal Beauty is now in remission.

Kate Middleton is making a long overdue change in royal tradition.
Her husband, her brother-in-law, and her father-in-law all participated in “blooding” in their youth.
This barbaric practice will not, she has reportedly insisted, pass on to her own royal children.
Updates can be a very good thing. Especially for ancient, crumbling institutions.

The United Kingdom is home to many traditions. Some are very silly — like Trooping The Colour, not installing window screens, and eating beans on toast.
Others, however, are nothing short of barbaric rites that look wouldn’t look out of place in a horror film.
One of those is called “blooding.

Welp.
At least we aren’t talking about Kate Middleton having cancer at the moment, we suppose.
Instead, however, the latest controversy centered around the beautiful princess has to do with the fashion choices she makes… and whether the public is privy to information about them.
Yup. This is a weird one…

Back on February, the 1 Sunday Times published an article titled “Princess of Wales: Focus on my work, not my wardrobe,” which quoted a Royal source stating that the Princess of Wales “wants the focus to be on the really important issues, the people and the causes she is spotlighting.”
This prompted many to wonder whether or not Middleton really is sick of folks wondering about the clothes she wears.

Catherine, the Princess of Wales, made a surprise appearance during the opening of the Eurovision Song Contest’s grand final on Saturday evening alongside Andrew Lloyd-Webber, rapper Ms Banks and last year’s Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra, who hail from Ukraine.
The princess, who is married to Britain’s Prince William, appeared in a pre-recorded clip playing an instrumental version of Kalush Orchestra’s winning song “Stefania” on the piano, which she recorded in the Crimson Drawing Room of Windsor Castle earlier this month.
The clip was part of a montage of different artists – including Lloyd-Webber and Ms Banks – who performed a version of the song alongside Kalush Orchestra themselves. Also featuring in the line-up were last year’s runner-up Sam Ryder, Ballet Black, Bolt Strings, and Joss Stone.
Catherine’s instrumental version was arranged by Joe Price and Kojo Samuel.

King Charles III's coronation has arrived, and after months of speculation, Prince Harry has made a return to the UK for the event - without his wife, Meghan Markle, by his side. Harry was seen entering Westminster Abbey on Saturday morning solo, walking alongside his cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. He was seated in the third row for the May 6 formal ceremony.
Back on April 12, Variety reported that the king's communications team issued a statement that read, "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet." Additionally, a source told People that Harry would attend the event because he wants to support his father's important milestone. However, he's not expected to appear at other outings aside from the crowning ceremony.

Some of Queen Elizabeth II's youngest family members were a special part of her state funeral in London on Sept. 19. Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the oldest two children of Prince William and Kate Middleton, were part of the late Queen's funeral processional in Westminster Abbey.
The siblings, ages 7 and 9, respectively, entered the service with their parents. Joining them in the procession were their aunt and uncle, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Prince Louis, who is only 4, was not part of the funeral service. But earlier comments from his mom make it clear that the little royal is feeling the loss of his gan-gan.

Like Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton also wore jewellery that once belonged to the Queen at her funeral on Monday.
The Princess of Wales honoured the late monarch by wearing two of her pieces; the Bahrain pearl drop-earrings and a stunning Japanese pearl choker necklace with a centre diamond clasp.

Some very lucky critics have gotten the first look at Andres Muschietti's It and they are sharing some spoiler-free reactions, which apparently go from very scary to just plain awesome. The remake was already on track to earn $60 million dollars on its debut weekend, but the early, overwhelmingly positive reviews might make all of those record-breaking projections even higher. The early critical reaction has just jumped the hype meter up about 10 notches, an amazing feat because it didn't seem possible for the excitement of the upcoming It remake to get any higher. The critics who were able to check out the early screening have been taking to social media to humble brag as well as share their thoughts on the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's It.
Let's start with what many have been wondering: how does it compare to the book? According to Phil Noble Jr.'s Twitter post,...

The James Bond franchise is at an interesting crossroads. A couple weeks ago, it was revealed that the five studios had entered a huge bidding war over distribution rights. Once Spectre was released, the contract with Sony expired, allowing other studios to pitch themselves to Eon, who produces the Bond films.
It sounds like that isn’t the only interesting thing surrounding James Bond. Recently, MI6-hq noticed a peculiar entry on Bond 25’s IMDb page. According to said entry, the production behind the film is Syncopy. If you’re unfamiliar, this is Christopher Nolan’s very own production company. Now, it’s important to know that a lot of info on IMDb for upcoming films is inaccurate. It’s a great site, but it’s best used as a way to look at already-released films, as anyone can change the info.
So we should take this all with a grain of salt,...

When a signing goes to plan, the new recruit enriches the team, lifts the squad, and gives the supporters renewed hope for the future. Everton manager Roberto Martinez has proven efficient in the transfer market, bolstering the Blues with the shrew captures of Romelu Lukaku, Gerard Deulofeu, and Gareth Barry, to name but a few of the Catalan’s coups.
But for every free-scoring Belgian and silky-skilled Spaniard, there’s always an Arouna Kone and Aiden McGeady – forgettable signings whose recruitment gives Martinez and his scouting operation about as much wheeler-dealer cred as Rodney and Del Boy.
There’s always the good and the bad… but there’s also the downright weird, transfer business that makes you wonder what they were putting in the water supply when the club’s management paraded these players in front of a bemused press conference.

Manchester United vs Newcastle United. It’s a game that, for Magpies supporters, has always been a special one in the footballing calendar.
Admittedly Old Trafford has been one of the unhappiest away grounds for the travelling Toon Army – Newcastle have won there just once in 31 encounters since 1972 – but it is still a pilgrimage that Magpies supporters make in their thousands on a yearly basis.
The fact that Newcastle have such a poor record in the red half of Manchester actually makes some supporters even more determined not to skip this clash – because they do not want to miss the rare occasions when they can be overjoyed at claiming victory there.
Steve McClaren, Sir Alex Ferguson’s former assistant boss at Man Utd, takes his Newcastle side back to Old Trafford on Saturday (12.45pm kick-off) still searching for his first win as Magpies head coach. An...

Given their reputation as a “selling club”, not to mention their rise, decline and rise again through the years, it should not be surprising that Southampton have a more rapid turnover of staff than most clubs. While their successful youth academy produces a conveyor belt of young talent often snapped up after barely a year in the Saints first team, the club have often turned to experimenting with trialists, short term loans or rolling contracts to plug the gap.
In particular, a number of once great and now passed their prime players have been signed in the hope that they’ve still got a little of what made them great (and then rapidly dumped when it turned out they hadn’t).
Just look at Dennis Wise, the perfect example of both the quick-to-depart promising youngster and the has-been former great signed in desperation. A product of the Southampton youth system,...

As Louis van Gaal prepares to take charge of his first Premier League game as manager of Manchester United next Sunday, one of Sir Alex Ferguson’s biggest mistakes will be staring him right in the face. Last summer, after announcing his retirement following a glittering 26 years in charge of the club, Ferguson was allowed to hand-pick his successor in David Moyes and it didn’t work out.
Moyes was sacked after just 10 months and many football experts questioned the wisdom of the decision thereafter. The venerable Scot should not have been given so much influence in selecting his replacement and no other business in the world would afford such a luxury to a former employee.

It’s no accident that signing for Man Utd is considered one of the greatest achievements in football.
As a result the club have boasted some of the greatest stars in the history of the game through the years, with the likes of George Best, Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs leading the club to success, creating moments of wonder for fans of the Old Trafford club in the process. But for all of the top class talent to strut their stuff in the famous red shirt, United line ups have not always been perfect.

As one of England’s most successful football clubs, Manchester United have always chased the biggest and best players in the game, regardless of the price tag.
In 2001, we set the British transfer record to sign Juan Sebastian Veron, while more recently, we broke our club transfer record in landing Juan Mata from Chelsea for a cool £37 million.
But not all of the club’s huge transfer outlays have proved successful. While players such as Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo have graced the Theatre of Dreams, more than a few hopefuls have instead endured nightmares, at both their own, and our expense.
Though United have always seemingly had money to burn, many promising stars have seen their playing careers go up in smoke when attempting to live up to their occasionally-eye-watering transfer value.

The royal wedding of Prince William and the future Princess Catherine is just a few months away. From the daily barrage of tabloid folly, Vf.com’s Royal Watcher in London plucks the best for your wedding crib notes. • Got your wet suit, Will? The first details about the royal stag party have been leaked, and it will apparently consist of a day of water sports, such as waterskiing and wakeboarding. It won’t be a “wet” event, as no alcohol is allowed while attendees use the equipment—though they’ll finish off the day by boating to various seaside bars and restaurants. Let’s hope there aren’t any stowaways of the buoyant and blonde variety.
