Halloween Horror Nights: Inside ‘Fallout,’ ‘Terrifier,’ ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s,’ ‘Friday the 13th’ and More Scare Houses
Image
Each year, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights pushes the limit on what a seasonal after-hours event can be. For Mike Aiello, senior director of creative development at Universal Orlando Resort, this year is about ramping up the scares across the park, while also introducing new event experiences like roving zombie carhops and a DJ dance area.

“There’s always something for everybody at the event, but I think it’s most true this year with the diversity of content, from the IP and original house ideas, and the connective tissue, which is our Scare Zone program,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. “This year has evolved into something I think everyone’s going to like as a creative entity.”

Lora Sauls, assistant director of creative development and entertainment for Uor, says, “We’re filling in all those locations that had a moment to breathe, to bring a lot more characters,...

Meet the Survivors of a Post-Apocalyptic Earth With Funko's 'Fallout' Season 1 Figures
Image
In 2024, it was the end of the world for a retro-futuristic alternate universe, where a nuclear war led to the end of society. Now, you have the chance to meet some of the survivors as Funko released the first batch of figures in its Fallout collection. These figures are based on the main characters in this Prime Video series, which was not only highly praised by fans and critics alike, but it also received numerous accolades and was greenlit for a second season.

Fallout Season 1's Funko figures feature likenesses of Lucy MacLean, Maximus, the Ghoul with CX404, and Vault Boy. This collection also includes two chase figures, one for Vault Boy and another for Cooper Howard, who was once an ambassador for Vault-Tec before the war. Collectors have a 1 in 6 chance of obtaining a figure of Cooper Howard. The other is a chase figure of Maximus, which mainly consists...

'Fallout' Gets a New Armored Figure Before Video Game Fans Return to the Wasteland in Season 2
Image
Video game adaptations are all the rage these days. From The Last of Us to Twisted Metal, there's no shortage of great options on television. However, if you like your shows a bit more wacky and comedic, Fallout was probably one of your favorites from last year. The series, based on the Bethesda franchise of the same name, is returning for Season 2 later this year. Now, before fans re-enter the Wasteland, McFarlane Toys has debuted their latest Fallout figure.

A part of McFarlane's Elite Edition collection, their latest seven-inch figure is based on Fallout 76 – specifically, the T-60 armor from the popular game. The figure comes with a short plasma pistol, an alien blaster pistol, a laser pistol, a T-60 pistol, and a Gauss minigun. There's also a Black Diamond Sword, four alternate hands, a display base, and an Elite Points card. You can redeem the latter on McFarlane's website. The...

'Fallout' Game Developers Already Have Plans for Video Game Tie-Ins Ahead of Season 2
Image
The developers behind Fallout 76 are signaling deeper ties with Prime Video’s live-action Fallout series – but they’re also keenly aware of the nearly two-century-long gap separating the two. In a recent interview, Fallout 76 creative director Jon Rush confirmed that Bethesda is planning tie-in content to coincide with the second season of the adaptation.

“The show is very effective storytelling, great storytelling, very ‘Fallout,’ being made by folks that are big fans of the game and the series, and so are we,” Rush told Variety. He continued, “The two go together very well. So folks see the show and want more of that same kind of story, and they’re going to come into 76, they’re going to come into Fallout 4, or come into Fallout 3.”

According to Rush, the teams are preparing content “lining up with the seasonal releases of the show,” adding, “we do have plans for things here and there.

Ahead of 'Fallout' Season 2, Ella Purnell Gets a New Post-Apocalyptic Figure From McFarlane Toys
Image
Video game adaptations are having a moment this decade. Whether it be on the big screen with hits like Minecraft and Sonic the Hedgehog or on TV with The Last of Us and Twisted Metal, there's no shortage of good genre content out there. However, where the sci-fi post-apocalyptic category is concerned, Amazon's Falloutis arguably the best adaptation we've seen on TV thus far. The series, based on the Bethesda gaming franchise of the same name, will be debuting its second season this winter. Now, ahead of our return to the wasteland, McFarlane Toys has debuted their latest Fallout figure.

Number six in the Elite Edition line, McFarlane’s latest seven-inch figure is Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) and Dogmeat. Lucy is seen in the franchise’s iconic blue-and-yellow vault jumpsuit and comes with a survival guide full of accessories. This includes two swappable faceplates, a removable backpack, two pistols, four extra hands,...

Fallout Season 2: Everything We Know So Far
Image
We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

When it comes to adapting a story from one medium to another, few translations have suffered as greatly as those made from video games. There are some truly terrible video game movie and television adaptations, so fans were nervous when it was announced that there would be a "Fallout" streaming series created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, with the first three episodes directed by "Westworld" co-creator Jonathan Nolan. Thankfully, the people behind the show seem to fully comprehend what makes the "Fallout" series of games so great, from the absolutely brutal and outrageous violence to its pitch-black but cheeky sense of humor.

The first season of "Fallout" was stellar, following the fresh-faced and hilariously optimistic vault dweller Lucy (Ella Purnell), a mysterious irradiated man known as "the Ghoul" (Walton Goggins), and a lost squire with the Brotherhood of Steel...

‘Fallout’ Season 2 Wraps Filming: Expected Release Date, Cast, Plot and All We Know So Far
Image
Season 1 was an absolute blast (literally). We followed sweet-but-deadly Lucy as she left the safety of Vault 33 and stepped into a post-nuke Los Angeles that was equal parts chaotic, crusty, and somehow still hilarious. Along the way, she crossed paths with Maximus, a Brotherhood of Steel soldier with more baggage than a Super Mutant, and The Ghoul, the world’s most terrifying cowboy with a heart buried somewhere deep under 200 years of radiation.

With wild twists, gruesome reveals, and that jaw-dropping finale, Fallout didn’t just live up to the hype — it nuked it.

And now that Season 2 is in the can, we’ve got one big question: what’s next? There are whispers of New Vegas, even crazier factions, and some surprise new faces on the way. If Season 1 was the tutorial, Season 2 might just be the real boss fight.

Let’s break down everything we know (so far...

'Fallout' Star Knows When the Hit Sci-Fi Series Will End: "They Gave Me the Endpoint"
Image
Season 2 of Prime Video'sFallout has wrapped production, as Walton Goggins so kindly revealed on social media. The second season of the hit video game adaptation is set to premiere this December, and a third season has already been greenlit by the studio. But, how long will Amazon's Fallout adaptation actually last for? While there are only so many games in the franchise (and Bethesda is a notoriously slow video game developer), Season 1 told an original story set in the same universe as the games, meaning the possibilities are endless. But Aaron Moten, who plays Maximus in the show, recently revealed that he knows when the show will likely come to an end. Truth is, the game was rigged from the start.

Aaron Moten recently appeared at Liverpool Comic-Con in England (via Reddit), to promote the second season of Fallout. During the panel, Moten revealed that he was told how long...

‘Fallout’ Season 3 Is Happening and I Wish It Won’t Follow the Worst Trend of the First Season
Image
Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten’s post-apocalyptic drama Fallout scripted an unprecedented success for Prime Video upon its release in April 2024. So much so that the series has been renewed for a third season, even before the release of its second season.

Now, as we are gearing up for the release of the second season of Fallout in December 2025, Prime Video shared that the science fiction series has been renewed for the third season. Amid the presence of the show’s stars, including Purnell, Moten and Goggins, Prime Video shared during Amazon’s annual upfront presentation that Fallout will be coming back for a third season.

While the excitement surrounding Prime Video’s Fallout has never been less than fitting, the show is yet to reach cult status due to a glaring aspect in its first season. With the retrofuturistic science fiction having recently been renewed, it is the plea...

‘Fallout’ Season 2 Teaser Confirms December Release and a Trip to New Vegas, Season 3 Confirmed Ahead of Premiere
Image
Fans of the Fallout TV series have something exciting to look forward to! A teaser trailer for Fallout Season 2 just dropped, well, sort of. The teaser wasn’t officially released through the usual channels. Instead, it popped up on Reddit after being shown at Upfront with Amazon, an event aimed at marketing professionals.

The teaser is short—just 33 seconds—and doesn’t reveal much that we didn’t already know. However, it does confirm one big detail: Season 2 will premiere in December 2025 on Amazon Prime.

The clip shows Lucy and The Ghoul standing on the edge of New Vegas, looking seriously at each other. The city looks just like the one from the beloved game Fallout: New Vegas. As one fan put it, “I too would look seriously at my companion if I happened to reach the outskirts of New Vegas, chiefly because I know there to be many deathclaws in the vicinity.

Inside the Amazon Upfront: There’s No Escaping Walton Goggins
Image
Amazon made its play to be the cool advertising partner on Monday night with a relatively zippy Beacon Theater presentation that followed an extremely loud DJ set from Steve Aoki.

Perhaps the aspiring pizza impresario was instructed to keep the arriving crowd awake after enduring both NBCUniversal and Fox earlier in what proved to be an egregiously long day. Whether people were annoyed or enamored with Aoki, the masses seemed to be satisfied by the surprise performance from Lizzo that followed. Flanked by David Bautista and Jason Momoa (co-stars of Amazon MGM Studios’ The Wrecking Crew), the flautist marched through the lobby, down one of the center aisles and onto the stage while singing “About Damn Time.” It was the highest concentration of talent the week had seen thus far.

Amazon’s pitch is relatively straightforward. In short, everybody has it. Why waste time dwelling on numbers when there’s...

Amazon 2025 Upfront: Michael B. Jordan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis Light Up Stage as Streamer Makes Strong Return
Image
Amazon made its second formal appearance at the upfronts in New York on Monday night, and once again, it pulled out all the stops.

Like their 2024 presentation, Amazon made a number of splashy announcements with major star power to rev up excitement in the normally sedated crowd of advertising executives at the storied Beacon Theater in Manhattan.

World famous DJ Steve Aoki opened the show with over half an hour of blasting beats on behalf of Twitch, which was no doubt welcome by weary advertisers who had been making their way around the city to different network presentations since morning. What better than some good Edm to wake you up on a Monday evening, after all?

Not long after, Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista made their way onstage with Lizzo leading the way. Yes, you read that right. Lizzo sang her hit song “About Damn Time,” with Momoa and Bautista...

'Fallout' Renewed For Season 3; Season 2 Premiere Date Announced
Image
The time to rejoice is now, my fellow nerds! Because Fallout, the epic series based on the video game title of the same name, has been renewed for a third season ahead of its Season 2 premiere — which the cast just announced will be happening in December 2025. The news was rolled out on Monday, May 12, by Prime Video, signaling major faith in the drama series fronted by Ella Purnell and the internet's current favorite boyfriend, Walton Goggins. Given all that Goggins has said about the series (which recently wrapped production), we're not all that surprised, either.

Announced during Prime Video's Upfronts Presentation in New York, actors Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and ol' Goggins himself appeared onstage at New York's Beacon Theater to reveal all the epic new details before giving advertisers a sneak peek at Season 2. The new season will "pick up in the aftermath of Season One's epic finale and...

Prime Video reveals Fallout season 2 release window (and it's sooner than we thought)
Image
It's been a good week for Fallout news! Just days after Prime Video revealed production on season 2 had come to an end, Prime Video announced Fallout season 3 is already in the works during the Amazon Upfronts presentation on Monday, May 12.

Still, that wasn't even the biggest news about Fallout that Prime Video revealed!

According to Amazon, Fallout season 2 will premiere on Prime Video in December 2025. That's the news everyone should be talking about, especially since we were concerned that Fallout season 2 would not be released until 2026. While we still don't know the premiere date yet, this is obviously good news for fans of the series. We don't have to wait nearly as long as we thought we would! That rarely happens in the streaming age, which features long gaps between seasons.

It's a quick turnaround for production on the post-apocalyptic series, but Prime Video seems confident that they can make it happen.

“200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”

‘Fallout’s Fate Has Been Decided Before Season 2 Has Even Aired
Image
Season 2 of the smash-hit video game adaptation Fallout is still a ways away, but Prime Video's ready to set the world on fire today. During its upfront presentation, Amazon announced that the series, based on the post-apocalyptic RPGs created by Interplay Entertainment and Bethesda, has already been renewed for a third season. The news isn't particularly shocking, given that the show is one of the platform's top three most-watched titles and Season 1 has been seen by over 100 million viewers, but it's definitely earlier than expected to arrange another stint in the wasteland. It's just one of two atomic bomb announcements to come from the world of Fallout, as Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten also appeared during the upfront to announce a much earlier-than-expected December 2025 premiere for Season 2.

Fallout is described as "a story of haves and have-nots in a world where there's almost nothing left to have." Set...

'Fallout' Season 2 Sets Its Return to the Wasteland Much Sooner Than Expected
Image
Amazon's annual upfront presentation is underway tonight, and with it comes a few atomic bombshells for fans of Fallout. Filming just finished last week on Season 2, which seemed to line up the series for a return sometime next year, depending on post-production. However, the stars of Prime Video's record-breaking video game adaptation — Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten — all took the stage at the event to announce that they'll be returning to the wasteland well before then. Though an exact date has yet to be settled, the series will be back on the small screen this December.

The exact story for Season 2 isn't known yet, but it will take the main trio of wasteland survivors to the Mojave Desert after that climactic finale at the Griffith Observatory. Season 1 largely followed Lucy (Purnell) as she left Vault 33 in search of her kidnapped dad, only to get wrapped up in a...

Fallout renewed for season 3, on track to run 6 seasons, season 2 coming this year!
Image
Fallout is one of several shows and movies doing what once seemed impossible: making video game adaptations look good. People loved the first season of Prime Video's darkly funny post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama, based on Bethesda's long-running series of darkly funny post-apocalyptic video games. Unfortunately, Amazon didn't know how successful the first season of the show would be, so it's taken a minute for them to get rolling on a second. But with filming on season 2 now complete, we're that much closer to returning to the wasteland and catching up with folks like Lucy, the Ghoul and Maximus!

And according to TV Line, we won't have to wait that long. Amazon revealed at its Upfront presentation today that Fallout season 2 this December.

"We've Always Known We're Going to Take Our Time": 'Fallout' Star Reveals How Long the Show Could Run For
Image
There will be more deadly adventures in the wasteland when Amazon Prime Video's Falloutreturns for its highly anticipated second season. But as Lucy (Ella Purnell) teams up with her enemy to track down her wayward father, another one of the show's stars, Aaron Moten, has revealed that there could be more than just a second season of Fallout — potentially, many more seasons.

Moten, who plays Brotherhood of Steel member Maximus in the show, recently told an audience at the Liverpool Comic-Con, per a video shared on Reddit, that there could be up to six seasons of Fallout. "When I signed on to do the series, [that] we would have a starting point, and they gave me the end point," Moten said. "That endpoint hasn’t changed, but it is, Season 5, Season 6, type of endpoint. We've always known that we're going to take our time with the development of the characters."

Fallout Star Reveals How Many Seasons the Prime Video Series Is Planned to Run
Image
Fallout, a TV show based on the wildly popular post-apocalyptic games, debuted on Amazon Prime to rave reviews. People wanted to spend more time inside the devastated but wacky wasteland of America. But how much time would they be getting, exactly?

Aaron Moten, who plays Maximus on the show, may have just answered that question while appearing at Comic Con Liverpool. He said, via Comic Basics, “When I signed on to do the series, we would have a starting point, and they gave me the end point. That endpoint hasn’t changed, but it is Season 5, Season 6, type of endpoint. We’ve always known that we’re going to take our time with the development of the characters.“

There's certainly no reason why the show shouldn't run for five or six seasons. Despite having shown off a great deal of the world and its workings already, it's still barely scratched the surface of Fallout lore.
