The sequel to Frank Sudol's hilarious animated horror epic City of Rott, cleverly entitled City of Rott 2, will be shambling forth during the fall of 2014 on both DVD and Blu-ray. Read on for the first details.

The original City of Rott was released by Unearthed Films and is available from Netflix, Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video and more. City of Rott 2 will be available for DVD on Amazon.com and is separately being rendered in HD 1080p Resolution for Blu-ray.

Synopsis

Eight years after the Rott Worm Plague decimated planet Earth, Harry, a Walker Fu Master, joins forces with an outcast Scout, Max Bludharte. Against all odds, the duo must find a cure for Max's ever-tormenting skinworm infection, uncover the mystery of a crashed UFO, and put a stop to an evil Tyrant and his Army of ruthless Scouts. Frank Sudol's hilarious animated horror epic City of Rott is ready to return in series form for a twelve-episode run, and if you're unfamiliar with this sliver of re-animated lunacy do yourself a favor and get acquainted quickly.

Join Max Bludharte and Harry Figiero (brother of Fred from City of Rott the movie, 2006) on their epic quest to rid the city of the living dead. This preview reveals the first scene of the First Episode of a planned series and it's one we're sure zombie fans will happily eat up.

The entire project is a One Man Production, including music, sound FX, visuals, directing, modeling of characters, backgrounds, animation, technical directing, etc, created by F. Sudol and is presented by BlackArro Productions.

No release date has been set at this time, but lord knows we will be watching

Frank Sudol is probably best known for his post apocalyptic zombie animation City of Rott which was great on gore but short on storyline. He was also an assistant animator on the South Park film and did the recent horror animation Dead Fury which I have yet to see.. but now he's back with a 3rd animated horror film and this one is right up our alley! Anti-Human is well underway, and besides the synopsis theres some sweet sneak peak footage!

In Dead Fury, BlackArro Productions' latest 82-minute horror-gore-cartoon, a zombie-demon gets its head blasted apart from a slew of shotgun pellets, bloodshed and brains spreading into the air. Max, the hero of the story, rushes in with his pick axe, tearing off its legs, ripping out its guts, and slicing the fallen corpse into pieces.

Blood flows readily in Dead Fury (review here), but what's involved in spilling the red? The first step starts out on paper. Each gut, brain, organ, and intestine is carefully drawn by hand, with some shading and tone added for increased detail far beyond what cel-shading offers, accomplished with the use of a simple ballpoint pen found at your local dollar store.

The next step? Scan the gory black and white illustrations into Photoshop. With the use of a few manual tools, rich colors are added, particularly vibrant red. After the color, each organ is separated into individual pieces,...

A pretty disturbing little flick, actually. One of the only movies I can recall that shows a mother not just killing her children, but doing so in a traditional stalk-n-slash style. The story is about a mother who is pushed too far when her truck-driver husband hits the road again and snaps, killing all but one of her children who plays the traditional survivor girl role this time...
