The Man Without Fear isn't going anywhere in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If a new rumor is to be believed, Charlie Cox is going to be booked and busy reprising his role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil for the foreseeable future.

According to trusted scooper Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, Marvel Studios is already discussing ideas for Daredevil "post-Secret Wars not only for a third season [of Daredevil: Born Again], but also [for] his future inclusion in films." This development stems from Daredevil: Born Again reportedly being "absolutely fantastic," with Perez noting that the "production team really tried to not only recapture the feel and vibe of the Netflix show, but elevate it to a whole new scale." So far, Born Again remains Cox's only confirmed future appearance as Daredevil, although he has been rumored for both of the upcoming Avengers movies, as well as Spider-Man 4.

Daredevil: Born Again's place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline has seemingly been revealed. Actor Wilson Bethel, who reprises his role as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye from the Netflix series, recently shared that the Disney+ series will pick up five years after the events of Season 3.

Per Collider, Bethel opened up about reprising Bullseye during a panel at the recent Fan Expo San Francisco, sharing how "there's kind of like this funny thing stepping back after five years where Born Again will pick up with that amount of time having transpired. The show doesn't pick up the day after we last saw it. It picks up five years later." A new look at Daredevil: Born Again has been released. Matt Murdock actor Charlie Cox has also confirmed that Born Again will essentially serve as the long-awaited fourth season of the original Netflix Daredevil series.

Empire debuted the new image, which shows Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), Matt Murdock (Cox), and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) walking outside their law firm, Nelson, Murdock & Page. It is essentially an official look at the trio's reunion that was previously revealed online back in February 2024 via a bunch of set photos. Woll and Henson were not originally slated to return as Karen and Foggy for Daredevil: Born Again. However, following a creative overhaul, the actors were brought back to reprise the fan-favorite roles, bringing the duo officially into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Brad Winderbaum says the shorter first season "feels great.

The first season of Daredevil: Born Again was initially supposed to feature 18 episodes. After the series underwent a creative overhaul, it was reduced by half.

During an appearance on the Phase Hero Podcast, Marvel Studios' Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum explained why the creative team decided to split the show into two nine-episodes. "Our first conceit for Daredevil was [to try] a longer format. Let's take this character and this world of New York City and build an ensemble. Then we learned a lot of lessons doing it that way," he said. "So, because of a number of reasons, including the shutdowns due to the strikes, we were able to reassess the episodes and see what we had. It's just the best nine episodes. It feels like it is a great kind of first season."

Charlie Cox says fans should not expect to see Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk in too many scenes together when Daredevil: Born Again debuts on Disney+. While it might seem like an odd choice to keep the show's titular hero and primary villain apart, the actor recently offered a reasonable explanation.

"With these characters, you have to always feel like, were they to cross paths, they would fight to the death... it would be hugely explosive," Cox told Collider at New York Comic Con. "So, you have to, in the writing of a show, in the construction of it, you have to limit the amount of time they can be together, or you have to give them real reason for them not to be together."

“Daredevil: Born Again” officially has a premiere date: The Marvel Television series will drop on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.

The news was announced at the “Marvel Fanfare With Cb Cebulski” panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday, where “Daredevil: Born Again” stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio made a surprise appearance on stage. During the panel, Sana Amanat, series producer and Marvel Studios production and development executive, joined Marvel editor-in-chief Cebulski to talk about filming Season 1 of “Daredevil: Born Again” in New York City. They also shared a special sneak peek of the series with the audience.

Marvel Studios just wrapped up a surprise Daredevil: Born Again panel at New York Comic Con and the trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ TV series has leaked online.

The sneak peek includes several of the Man Without Fear's new cowls and clashes with The Punisher, Muse, and The Kingpin. We also catch sight of Bullseye, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson (it's widely believed they were added to the series following the widely publicised creative overhaul).

Daredevil: Born Again will make its Disney+ debut in 2025. The series is expected to be as brutal as its Netflix predecessor, which ended after three seasons.

Speaking to on ABC's On The Red Carpet Storytellers Spotlight Stage, Marvel Studios executive Brad Winderbaum, offered some insight into the upcoming superhero show by comparing it to Game of Thrones. "Imagine if New York City was as intricate and problematic and scary as the world of Game of Thrones," he said. "All these forces vying for control, and it can be really hopeful at times, and really violent at times, and dark-but also there's light at the end of the tunnel if you could just fight for it."

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 begins production in a few weeks but we won't get to watch that first batch of episodes until next March.

The Disney+ series promises to take a deep dive into the street-level corner of the MCU, something we'd once hoped was also the plan for Spider-Man 4. 

Now, The Cosmic Circus brings a few rumoured updates on the show and the Man Without Fear's fellow Defenders. As expected, Mayor Wilson Fisk will indeed be hunting down vigilantes, with Echo and Blindspot once on his list. How much has changed since the creative overhaul remains unclear, though we might have to wait for the latter's MCU debut.

While Marvel Television (the original Jeph Loeb-led iteration) was in charge of Netflix's Daredevil, MCU concept artist Ryan Meinerding was enlisted to design the Man Without Fear's costume.

It didn't feature the iconic "Dd" logo and neither has any iteration of the suit since. In fact, it was still missing when Matt Murdock made his MCU debut in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and, based on Daredevil: Born Again set photos, it won't feature there either.

Perhaps the thought process is that a blind superhero wouldn't need or want to put a logo on his chest. Still, fans remain eager to see it on screen.

In the newly released Marvel Studios: The Art of Ryan Meinerding book, new artwork confirms that at least two different versions of the suit were designed for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law with the "Dd" logo front and centre.

Daredevil: Born Again underwent a creative overhaul midway through production, resulting in sweeping changes to both the story and creative team.

We believe original plans called for Foggy Nelson to die, prompting Matt Murdock to give up being the Man Without Fear (resulting in the lawyer not suiting up for at least four or five episodes of the nine-episode series). In place of a random gunman, we now have Bullseye and set photos have confirmed Karen Page has also been added to the scene. 

Some footage from the original shoot will remain and it appears Foggy is still set to take a bullet. However, according to a new rumour shared on r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers, there's going to be a unique twist. 

While we're not putting too much stock in this, it's said that Matt is forced to work for Wilson Fisk's Mayoral campaign after turning to the Kingpin to help keep Foggy alive.

Daredevil: Born Again was among the MCU titles showcased at D23 earlier this month and, much to the delight of Marvel fans who didn't make the trip to Anaheim, it quickly leaked online.

Believe it or not, it still hasn't been pulled - as you can see here - but a much better-quality version has surfaced on social media in the past couple of days. While not quite the same as an official release, part of the screen is no longer cut off and the overall picture and sound quality is much-improved.

As a result, we get a much better look at everything from the Man Without Fear's five cowls to his clashes with The Punisher, Muse, The Kingpin, and more. When Daredevil: Born Again finally arrives on Disney+ next March, we're expecting a long overdue deep dive into the street-level corner of the MCU.

We know the Man Without Fear will cross paths with the likes of White Tiger and The Punisher, while various online scoopers have claimed the plan for Spider-Man 4 is for Peter Parker and Daredevil to do battle with The Kingpin. 

If that happens, then we'd imagine the idea is to bring Wilson Fisk's story to a definitive close when he's defeated by his two greatest foes. 

Lead star Charlie Cox recently teased plans for cameos in Daredevil: Born Again and Daniel Richtman has now "confirmed" rumours that Jacques "Jack" Duquesne (Tony Dalton) will appear in the series. Is he finally going to suit up as Swordsman? That remains to be seen. 

The scooper also claims that there were once plans for Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan/Ms.

Daredevil: Born Again will finally deliver a deep dive into the street-level corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Hawkeye gave us a glimpse into that, of course, but it's in this series that we'll see vigilantes in action. 

The Punisher and White Tiger are both confirmed to appear and lead star Charlie Cox commented on the latter character's role during a recent appearance at Fan Expo Chicago.

With such a clear divide between Marvel Studios and Marvel Television, most fans never expected Netflix's street-level characters to appear in the MCU.

That changing looked a little more likely when Disney shuttered Marvel Television, but even then it was hard to imagine Kevin Feige and company being willing to pick up where several seasons of programming on Netflix left The Defenders.

However, in 2021, Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin returned in Hawkeye and, mere weeks later, we saw Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home Home.

The former's newfound strength suggested Marvel Studios was making some changes to the characters, and while the Netflix shows have since been made "canon" to Earth-616, we still don't expect future projects like Daredevil: Born Again to adhere too closely to what's come before.

Talking to People, Cox revealed when he first heard from Feige about suiting up again.

"We stopped...
