José "Tony" García is an actor working in Theatre, TV/Film, and Voiceover. Based in Chicago for most of his career, he worked as as an actor as well as an Extras Casting Assistant with 4 Star Casting. He now resides in Los Angeles, CA. Theatre credits include work with Porchlight Music Theater, Shakespeare Project of Chicago, Windy City Playhouse, The Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, Chicago Children's Theatre, Steep Theatre Company, Factory Theatre, Collaboraction, Adventure Stage Chicago, Bohemian Theatre Ensemble and Stage Left Theatre. He received his BFA from the University of Connecticut and his MFA from Indiana University. José is represented by Stewart Talent Agency.

(2013-2014 Season) He acted in the play, &quot;Fallow,&quot; at the Steep Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois.

(October 12 to December 29, 2018) He played Herbie in Arthur Laurents, Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim&#39;s musical, &quot;Gypsy,&quot; at the Porchlight Music Theatre at Ruth Page Center for the Arts in Chicago, Illinois with E. Faye Butler (Rose) in the cast. Michael Weber was director. Jeffrey D. Kmiec was scenic designer. Bill Morey was costume designer.
