On 19th May 2008, she organized a charity fund raising event involving 20 women riding as Lady Godiva on horseback through London's Hyde Park.

Vicky worked with the Jordanian army whilst filming Born Of War in Amman, her camera team hung out the side of a "little bird" attack helicopter while she directed them from a rooftop 5 meters away. For the scene where Mina and Olivia fight to the death on board a jet Vicky and the camera crew strapped themselves to the back of a pick up truck to be chased along the runway by the jet at speeds of up to 80mph.
