Robin Windsor, a popular former professional on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing has died. He was 44.

Production company Sisco Entertainment, which produces the play he has been starring in, Come What May, a Moulin Rouge tribute show, didn’t list a cause of death and said “it is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved friend, Robin Windsor.”

“His extraordinary ability to express emotion through movement captivated audiences, leaving them spellbound with every step,” Sisco wrote on X. “Beyond his impeccable dancing, Robin’s vibrant spirit lit up the room, infusing rehearsals and performances with infectious energy and warmth. His laughter was contagious, his kindness boundless. His friendship was a gift cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robin, you will be deeply missed.”

The statement added that Come What May will continue but Windsor’s “legacy will live on.”

The Friends actor will enter the Bake Off tent for a special episode, which will broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK and raise money and awareness for Stand Up To Cancer.

Lord of the Rings’ Andy Serkis and Veep creator Armando Iannucci and director Chris Addison are among the hundreds of thousands of protestors at an anti-Brexit march in London today.

The pair have been joined by the likes of Dragon’s Den star Deborah Meaden and TV chef Delia Chef at the event in the British capital, with a series of speeches being compered by Richard Bacon, host of Nat Geo’s Explorer, and Mariella Frostrup.

The police have not released official figures, but estimates range from around 250,000 to 500,000, the latter being put out by organizers the People’s Vote campaign.

The protest, which include a number of politicians from both the Labour and Conservative parties, is designed to call for a second referendum following Britain’s decision to leave the European Union. The UK is scheduled to leave the EU on March 29 2019 following the vote in June 2016.

Tom Davis will return as the imposing Di Sleet in new episodes of the bonkers but brilliant comedy.

The series casts celebrities - including, in the first series, Dermot O'Leary, Deborah Meaden and Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing - as detectives.

The hapless celebs must team with the unhinged Sleet to solve a killing in 'glitzy' Successville, with surreal results.
