While most shows would suffer with a truncated final season, Superman & Lois is handling things well. It has compressed the Death of Superman arc and reworked it by killing off Tyler Hoechlin's Clark Kent, while allowing his family and friends to continue the search for Doomsday.

In the wake of Sam Lane's death, it does feel like Superman & Lois Season 4 has a more tragic edge to it. However, Episodes 4, "A Perfectly Good Wedding," has one bright ray of sunshine: Kyle Cushing (Lana Lang's ex-husband) and Chrissy Beppo attempting to tie the knot. It builds to a surprising ending that is filled with maturity and endearment. However, the wedding is missing one key character, which severely downplays important arcs.
