Imelda Paclibar completed an intensive acting program at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) in San Francisco. Consequently, she graduated Cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Imelda was born an artist--she dreams in color and can see images from looking at clouds, tile designs or clusters of leaves. She debuted on stage performing dual roles (psychiatrist and Viet Cong) in "Honeybucket" (written / directed by Mel Escueta)-- a tour that started in San Luis Obispo and finished in San Francisco, California. She founded and hosted "The M.E.L. Show"--a community television show designed to motivate, educate and provoke laughter. She garnered recognition for Best Actress and Best Costume Design in multi -award winning short films --- Bequest (2018), Apache Girl (2021) and Cochise Legendary Warrior (2023) --- all films were written/ directed by Richard A. Pines. She recently hosted a feature documentary about Anna May Wong, the first American-Chinese actress recognized internationally which earned awards for Best Sound Design and Best Editing. Imelda plans to continue practicing her craft wherever life may take her.
