Brian Villalobos was born in Orlando but moved frequently as a child, growing up in Georgia, Costa Rica, Florida, and Texas. He is a multi-award-winning actor whose work can be seen in HBO MAX's Emmy-nominated limited series Love and Death (with Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons), PBS's How Are We Today, the films Man Goes On Rant, Man Finds Tape, and Accidental Texan (with Thomas Haden Church, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Bruce Dern), and Richard Linklater's Apollo 10 ½ (with Glen Powell and Jack Black). He voices "Professor Clavell" in Pokémon: Horizons and "Lodi" in the Destiny 2 game franchise.
He is the son of Carol Prather, a respiratory therapist and university lecturer, and Alvaro Villalobos, a sales executive. His brother, the popular Twitch streamer Michael Villalobos, plays video games professionally under the name LobosJr. He speaks Spanish fluently, has been married to fellow actor Akasha Villalobos since 2007, and lives in Texas with his family, a phalanx of pets, and a borderline obsession with Paul Verhoeven's Robocop (1987).
