Ofir Raul Graizer is a film director, screenwriter and editor. Born in Israel in 1981, Graizer worked in textiles to gastronomy, until he went to study film at Sapir College in Sderot. Graizer directed several short films that were shown in numerous festivals, including Cannes and Clermont Ferrand, and he is an alumni of Berlinale Talents. His first feature film, "The Cakemaker", the Israeli submission for the Academy Award in 2019, won 7 Ophir Awards at the Israeli Academy, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Script and Best Actress. Graizer published a book of short stories and recipes, "Ofirs Kuche" ("Ofir's Kitchen"), in Germany. He lives between Israel, Germany and the USA, and works internationally.
