Exclusive: Renowned Danish producer Kim Magnusson has boarded I’m Not a Robot, the Oscar-shortlisted live-action short from rising Dutch filmmaker Victoria Warmerdam, as an executive producer, with plans to help Magnusson adapt the film for the big screen.

As we were first to report, Eric Martin, head writer and executive producer for Loki Season 2, will also produce alongside Tobias Weymar, through their Rearview Pictures, along with the producer of the short, Trent of the Netherlands-based Oak Motion Pictures.

Ahead of Loki season 2's release on 4K SteelBook, another deleted scene has been released and it's essentially 90 seconds of the God of Mischief and the Tva's Mobius enjoying a couple of slices of Key Lime Pie.

Yes, it's a minute and a half of them eating pie, though the two best pals also share their thoughts on its taste and, more specifically, the quality of the cream on top. Neither seems overly impressed and Mobius even suggests it could be used as shaving cream.

The friendship between these characters was cemented over the course of two seasons, making it all the more tragic when they were separated in the finale. Martin admits he doesn't know what's next for Loki in the MCU, now that the character's redemption story is complete. "I actually don't know what the overall story is going to be. Things are so siloed off," he said in an interview with Esquire. Martin did not offer false hope the show would have a third season, which is likely a good thing considering the series’ cathartic ending. He did say they tried their best to lay a solid foundation for future spin-offs or tie-ins. "I hope that we've been good teammates and created fertile ground for other things. The goal is to make it so good that the rest of the MCU comes to you," he affirmed.

The Marvels has featured a lot of backlash online for its story and its lead character, Captain Marvel. The film focuses on three female heroes and some members of the Marvel fandom have found this to be too much to handle. While the movie does have valid criticisms, the online discourse may have helped to fuel its box office downfall.

That’s how enthusiastic the recent Oscar-winning star of “Everything Everywhere All at Once” was to talk about his role on “Loki,” the Marvel Studios series for Disney+ that just wrapped up its second season. When he signs on to our Zoom chat for the interview, his face is beaming.

“I’ve waited a long time to talk about ‘Loki,’” he says. “Like, talking to you right now gives me a lot of joy.”

Quan plays Ouroboros, or “Ob,” the head (and seemingly the sole employee) of the Repairs and Advancement Department of the Time Variance Authority — basically, the one person responsible for keeping the Tva’s machinery running.

Burdened with glorious purpose, indeed. The messy, frantic, but constantly entertaining second season of "Loki" came to a thrilling close last night ... and probably not in a way that anyone could've expected. After spending almost an entire season building up the importance of Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors) and emphasizing their mission to fix the finicky temporal loom, the finale all but threw those red herrings out the window in favor of a much more character-focused and deeply satisfying conclusion to Loki's (Tom Hiddleston) emotional quest to find meaning. After realizing that he could opt for another way around He Who Remains' false dichotomy from last season's cliffhanger, which suggested that either the timelines remain under the Time Variance Authority's prune-happy control forever or devolve into complete and utter chaos, Loki made the ultimate sacrifice to essentially become the loom himself.

You may recall that the first ever episode of Loki was called “Glorious Purpose”, and so is the last, coming full circle as the God of Mischief finally evolves into the God of Stories. For everyone else, the possibilities are now infinite, but for Loki there is now just one life to lead: sat upon a throne, just as he once coveted, alone forever. I am not okay.

For all the predictions we threw around about how this series would end, I doubt many saw all this coming, and it feels both refreshing and heartbreaking. The episode does, however, explore some of the other directions the story could have gone, giving Loki the opportunity to kill Sylvie or somehow succeed in fixing the loom. Although Kang the Conqueror is set to be the next major villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Loki Season 2 hasn't focused on his future.

Speaking to ComicBook, writer Eric Martin said he is unaware of Kang's exact role in the MCU as Phase Five continues. While details for the Children of the Atom's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut are scarce, Loki Season 2 showrunner Eric Martin has shared his interest in working on the X-Men reboot.

Martin discussed this in an interview with Total Film, commenting, "I think everybody's probably chasing after X-Men because I think that's where the richest characters are. But I mean, who knows? That's a decision for someone who's not me. As long as Marvel is happy, of course, I'd love to [work on more MCU projects].
