Body Count have unveiled the title track from their new album Merciless. The new song and accompanying music video arrive a day before the LP’s release on Friday (November 22nd).
The vicious track pits Ice-t’s bars against a riff that sounds like the intro from Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man.” It creates a doom vibe that drops into a chorus of Slayer-like thrash with ominous gang vocals chanting the song and album title (“Merciless!”). Ice-t proceeds to make his point clear: “I’ve only got one life to live / I got no more fucks to give.”
The Jay Scorsese-directed Nsfw video is quite a sight, recreating the shocking Merciless album cover — Ice-t as a torturous surgeon going to work on a KKK member — as if it were a scene from a horror film. Scorsese also directed the video for previous single “Psychopath,” another homage to horror and splatter films.

With the Premier League getting underway last weekend, with all the hype surrounding some of the world’s biggest clubs and players, it was forgivable perhaps to have forgotten that the Npower Championship started as well. Last season, Blackburn, Bolton and Wolves were relegated from England’s topflight. How will they fare this season? Here, with the assistance of fellow football fan Ross Potter, we examine each side and predict where they will finish up come the end of the season.
Barnsley
Having narrowly avoided relegation last season due to Portsmouth’s 10 point deduction, Barnsley have looked to add experience to a young looking squad. Mainly working through the free transfer market, the only money to have left the pocket of the owners is the £50k spent on the defender Lee Collins, and acquisition from League 2 side Port Vale.
The key to their form this year however, will mainly be...

Manchester City won a tough match against promoted Southampton, fighting back from 2-1 down to win the match 3-2 in the Premier League this afternoon. Goals from Carlos Tevez, Eden Dzeko and Samir Nasri were enough to see off the visitors, who scored through substitutes Rickie Lambert and Steven Davis.
City gave a debut to summer signing Jack Rodwell, and Joe Hart returned in goal, while Southampton handed a league debut to seventeen year old James Ward-Prowse, plus Saints debuts for Jay Rodriguez and Nathaniel Clyne.
Southampton started off the better team and showed composure in possession. After Sergio Aguero was carried off injured after a tackle from Clyne, City reacted and won a penalty when Carlos Tevez was fouled by Hooiveld after a lovely through ball flick from Samir Nasri. David Silva’s tame penalty was saved, however, and Southampton were at the very least City’s equals in the first half hour.

Sunday’s late kick-off sees promoted Southampton travel to face defending champions Manchester City. In terms of opening games, it does not get much tougher than this for the new boys and City showed last weekend in the Community Shield that they are packed full of firepower.
In a way, this is the perfect game to start off Southampton’s season. The Saints will travel to Eastlands with no pressure, and their players will find out what standard they will be required to meet if they want their stay in the Premiership to be more than fleeting.
Roberto Mancini’s side will not know what tactics they will be up against, although Nigel Adkins has throughout his short managerial career asked his teams to play good, attractive football. With Rickie Lambert leading the line they also have a physical presence, but how well the former Bristol Rovers striker will do...

Often at the start of the Premier League season, much of the talk centres on who is going to go on and win the title as opposed to who is going to consolidate their Premier League status for another season. The battle against the drop has at times been as equally enthralling and unpredictable as the title race itself, drawing in the interest of football fans all over the country. Last season, saw Blackburn Rovers, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bolton Wanderers take the plunge into the Championship, a notoriously difficult league to get out of, so here we look at seven sides that could face the same fate come May.
1. Southampton
Lets kick off with a newly promoted side! Last season they found themselves promoted behind Reading in second place, and return to the top flight following a seven year absence which saw the Saints enter administration and enter League One.
