Former President Joe Biden fired back at President Donald Trump and others in the GOP who have claimed his staff’s use of an autopen was done without his knowledge while granting pardons and clemency toward the end of his term.
“They’re liars. They know it,” he said in an interview with The New York Times about Trump and his allies’ claims that he was incapacitated and not privy to the decisions being made while he was serving as president. “They’ve done so badly. They’ve lied so...

Reacher continues to throw haymakers — even when its star is catching a few himself. One week after Reacher star Alan Ritchson stirred up controversy with a high-profile presidential photo op, the hit Prime Video series is still clinging to a spot in the U.S. Top 10. As of this week, Reacher remains the #7 most-watched show on the platform, proving that not even political backlash can knock Jack Reacher off his feet. For longtime fans of the Lee Child adaptations, this is hardly a surprise. But the real shock came last week when Ritchson shared an Instagram post from the Season 4 set — casually featuring President Joe Biden, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and Hunter Biden.
“So our Reacher set got in the way of these legends. Was a privilege and honor to meet the Biden family,” Ritchson wrote in the caption, before adding, “We chatted briefly about simple stuff, like string theory and quantum entanglement.

A chance meeting at a Philadelphia restaurant turned into a viral social media sensation Tuesday morning, when former President Joe Biden, Dr. Jill Biden and son Hunter happened to show up on the set of Reacher.
The Bidens had breakfast at Philly restaurant Parc where the cast of Reacher happened to be filming, according to CBS Philadelphia.
Photographer Hugh Dillon was watching the show shoot a police chase when suddenly black SUVs pulled up.
“Out walked these men, that I thought they were actors, but then the entire cast and crew started clapping and cheering,” he told the news outlet. Then someone said, ‘We love you, Joe, we love you!'”
“I thought it was the end of the scene — that they were wrapping for the day. And no, it was, you know, Joe Biden decided he needed some breakfast at Parc Rittenhouse,” added Dillon.

Jack Reacher’s fists might be famous, but Reacher star Alan Ritchson just got outmuscled by someone a little more… presidential. In a surprise behind-the-scenes moment that’s setting the internet ablaze, Ritchson shared a photo dump from the Season 4 set featuring none other than President Joe Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, and Hunter Biden — proving that even Jack Reacher can be outshined by a commander-in-chief, as Ritchson's Instagram post explained:

Former first daughter Ashley Biden has labeled the reports about her father, Joe Biden‘s mental acuity, as “disrespectful” and false.
Several new books, including CNN host Jake Tapper’s Original Sin, have documented Biden’s mental decline and an alleged cover-up by his aides.
On June 2, Ashley took to Instagram to share a screenshot of an Instagram story. This story included a selfie of herself and her father and mother, Jill Biden, at the beach.
“I’m so grateful,” she wrote in the story’s caption. “Too grateful to be angry about all the bullsh–.”
The former first daughter also said that she “hit the jackpot with” her parents.
In the caption for the post, she stated that “the Only coverup of this family is a Beach coverup.

Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s deeply reported book, Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again, takes a sledgehammer to Joe Biden’s legacy, already in grave disrepair. Claiming to have interviewed more than 200 sources around the 46th president, the CNN anchor and the Axios correspondent have written a necessary and deeply disturbing account of the Biden White House. According to a new report from The Daily Beast, Disney CEO Bob Iger and ABC News President Almin Karamehmedovic have privately asked the co-hosts of The View to tone down their frequent criticism of President Donald Trump. The alleged request was delivered during a meeting between Karamehmedovic, executive producer Brian Teta, and the show’s panel, which includes Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Image: ABC The Ask: Less Trump, More Celebs?
Sources familiar with the conversation said Karamehmedovic encouraged the show to broaden its focus beyond politics and highlighted higher-rated episodes that featured celebrity guests. While not presented as a formal directive, the suggestion was clear enough to provoke a strong response from the panel. One insider characterized the hosts’ pushback as essentially saying, “This is what our audience wants. Isn’t it gonna look kind of bad if we’re...

Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., has received a wave of backlash for making fun of Joe Biden’s family in the wake of the former president’s prostate cancer diagnosis.
On May 18, Biden’s office announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer that had spread to his bones and was consulting physicians about the next steps forward. An expert confirmed that Biden was suffering from “the most aggressive” form of cancer. Following the statement, Biden posted a photo of himself and Jill to X, writing in the caption, “Cancer touches us all.”
Hours following the office statement, Trump Jr. reposted a statement on X saying, “politics aside, we wish him a speedy recovery,” writing, “Agree 100%.”
However, not long after, Trump Jr. made accusatory remarks suggesting that Biden’s family had hidden his health matters quietly to manipulate the public.

The Cancer Is Aggressive
The news that Dr. Jill Biden’s husband was ill arrived via a press statement from his team. Unfortunately, it was found in his “prostate,” and with “metastasis to the bone.” The 82-year-old appeared unwell on occasion, but it’s not known if his cancer was responsible for that. More recently, he had some urinary problems that led to the new diagnosis

The statement continued with:
While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management. The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.

Former US President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. The disease has spread to his bones, as Biden was diagnosed on Friday after he sought medical treatment for urinary symptoms.
Biden’s Cancer Isn’t Curable, But It Is Treatable
Doctors found a nodule on his prostate. According to the statement from his office, he was diagnosed with a “Gleason score of 9 and grade group 5 prostate cancer with metastasis to the bone.” His cancer is not curable, but it is hopefully treatable; however, with the scores mentioned above, the cancer can grow and spread very quickly.
The American Cancer Society states that a prostate cancer’s grade group is indicative of how likely the tumor is to grow and spread, and how quickly it could occur.
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone sensitive, which allows for effective management.

Donald Trump extended his wish that Joe Biden has “a fast and successful recovery” after the announcement that his predecessor has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”
Trump’s tone was in longtime political tradition of setting aside political differences in the midst of serious health matters. After the assassination attempt on Trump’s life last July, Biden’s campaign paused advertising and events and then then-president, still running for reelection, called his rival.
Biden’s office released a statement earlier today saying, “Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer,...

Former president Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, according to an official statement from his personal office obtained by Deadline.
“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the statement said. “While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.”
Per the statement, Biden and his family are “reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”
According to Cancer.org, cancers with Gleason scores of 8 to 10 are categorized as poorly differentiated and high-grade, posing high risk as they are highly aggressive and rapidly growing.

When Joe Biden arrived at a heavily promoted, record-breaking fundraiser in Los Angeles last year, he didn’t appear to recognize one of the star co-hosts of the event: George Clooney.
The moment was detailed in Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s new book, Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again, to be published next week.
In an excerpt in The New Yorker, Tapper and Thompson detail the scene at a pre-fundraiser clutch, as Clooney and Julia Roberts, another co-host, entertained high-dollar donors while waiting for Biden to arrive.
They write that the President said “thank you for being here” to guests as he shuffled past them. “Clooney felt a knot form in his stomach as the President approached him. Biden looked at him. ‘Thank you for being here,’ he said. ‘Thank you for being here.'”

Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, appeared on The View to discuss Kamala Harris’ future and his rivalry with Donald Trump, and they rebuffed suggestions of Biden’s cognitive decline in 2024.
During a joint interview on the talk show on May 8, Biden was asked what Harris plans to do next. He stated he last spoke to her on May 7 and that they speak to each other frequently. He also mentioned that she has “a difficult decision to make about what she’s going to do. I hope she stays fully engaged. I think she’s first-rate, but we have a lot of really good candidates as well. So I’m optimistic – I’m not pessimistic – about the future.”
Last week, it was revealed that Biden’s campaign team chose not to have him take a cognitive test in February 2024 because they feared it would raise more questions about his age.

Joe Biden made an appearance on The View today.
And as expected, he answered questions about the 2024 election and his cognitive abilities during his final months in the White House.
Biden’s criticism of President Donald Trump came as no surprise, of course. But many viewers were taken aback by the former president’s claims that he believes he would have won reelection had he remained in the race.

“It is very difficult to process how much has happened since Joe Biden was last at this table,” Whoopi Goldberg said at the start of Thursday’s episode of “The View.”
That’s an understatement. Biden last went on the show in September 2024, during the heat of the campaign, in an attempt to boost the prospects of his vice president, Kamala Harris, in her brief and ultimately unsuccessful run for the presidency. Now, he was showing up as an ex-president, in order both to critique Donald Trump’s chaotic early months in office and to defend his own legacy. For all that’s shifted in American life, though, one element remained consistent: It was unclear what Biden hoped to accomplish by appearing on “The View.”

Former president Joe Biden vehemently denied claims that he was in severe cognitive decline during his final year in office on Thursday morning, bluntly saying that recent books saying otherwise are “wrong.”
The 46th president and former first lady Jill Biden stopped by “The View” for their first TV interview since leaving office, and while there, discussed what went wrong for Democrats after Biden dropped out of the race, his accomplishments in office, and more. The ABC hosts made sure to push him on the timing of his dropout, and during the third segment of the interview, host Alyssa Farah Griffin brought up claims of his mental decline.

Former President Joe Biden was in good spirits as he returned to The View on Thursday for his 11th appearance on the ABC daytime program and first live TV interview since he left the White House.
The former commander-in-chief was brought out early in the show for a solo interview before he was joined by his wife, former first lady Dr. Jill Biden. And The View devoted its full hour to its interview with the Bidens.
President Biden was peppered by questions about the 2024 presidential election, which saw the president drop out in July after a poor performance at a late June debate with then-Republican candidate Donald Trump led to growing calls for him to end his re-election bid. He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate, and she won the support to become the Democratic nominee. But Harris ended up losing the election to Trump, who won all seven swing states.

In his first U.S. sitdown interview since leaving office, Joe Biden said that he was not surprised when Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris and won the 2024 election.
“I was very disappointed, but I was not surprised,” Biden told the hosts of ABC’s The View.
He said that didn’t mean that he thought that Harris was the most qualified to be president. Instead, he said that the Trump team “went the sexist route” by casting doubt that a woman can be president, and also by playing the race card.
“I have never seen as successful and quite as consistent a campaign undercutting the notion that a woman couldn’t lead the country, and a woman of mixed race,” Biden said.
He also said that “we underestimate the the phenomenal impact that Covid and the pandemic” had, as the disruptions continued to impact voters views of the country.

Biden also addressed criticism of his decision to run for reelection, given that he had previously indicated that he would be a transitional president.

Donald Trump has acted once again to remove his predecessor Joe Biden’s appointees from various commissions, this time ousting former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and other Democrats from the board that oversees the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
Emhoff, who was enlisted to be a point person in the Biden administration’s fight against antisemitism, said in a statement that he was informed Tuesday that he was being removed from the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.
“Let me be clear: Holocaust remembrance and education should never be politicized. To turn one of the worst atrocities in history into a wedge issue is dangerous — and it dishonors the memory of six million Jews murdered by Nazis that this museum was created to preserve.”

Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson discussed the other side of the crossover in a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
After a conversation with host Jimmy Kimmel that ranged from Brunson's encounter with Jill Biden at the Super Bowl and her experience at Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary special, conversation turned to the crossover. Brunson described the Always Sunny half of the crossover as "way more raunchy than ours." She added, "It was fun! It was fun seeing what Janine,...

The funeral of Pope Francis solemnly took place Saturday morning in St. Peter’s square drawing roughly 200,000 people, including 50 heads of state, 10 reigning monarchs and throngs of global media outlets providing coverage of the ritual expected to draw billions of viewers.
Mourners gave Pope Francis his final salute on a sunny morning six days after his death, at 88, on Easter Monday. Since Wednesday, more than 120,000 faithful had lined up in St. Peter’s Basilica through Friday to pay their respects.
In keeping with his stated wish to simplify the papal funeral rites, Pope Francis’ body had been lying in a wooden casket at St. Peter’s, having done away with the tradition of three coffins — two made of cypress and oak, and one of lead.
Former U.S. President Joe Biden and former first lady Jill Biden were among the first to arrive for pope’s funeral in St. Peter’s Square.

President Joe Biden has been accused of photoshopping himself into his family’s Easter picture this year.

British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charitable foundation gave $250,000 Joe Biden’s daughter and inquiring minds want to know why.
The couple’s non-profit organization, Archewell, was actually a founding partner of Ashley Biden’s initiative, Women’s Wellness (Spa)ce, according to their own books. This is a curious donation that deserves further scrutiny according to a think tank.
Why Did Meghan and Harry Give Money to Ashley Biden?
The Daily Mail reports that “The donation was made some time in the 2023-2024 tax year … at a time when the couple seemed to be intent on finding a way into the Biden family inner circle when Joe Biden was still President.”
The outlet reported that Meghan and Harry “wanted to ride back to the US on Air Force One after the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2022 but were rebuffed by the White House.

Updated, with additional comment: Donald Trump continued his takeover of the Kennedy Center today, as he named loyalist Ric Grenell to serve as interim executive director.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, “I am pleased to announce that Ric Grenell will serve as the Interim Executive Director of The Kennedy Center. Ric shares my Vision for a Golden Age of American Arts and Culture, and will be overseeing the daily operations of the Center. No More Drag Shows, Or Other Anti-american Propaganda — Only The Best. Ric, Welcome To Show Business!”
There is no executive director position at the Kennedy Center. Deborah Rutter currently serves as president of the arts institution, and it is unclear what her status is. In January, she announced plans to step down at the end of the year.
Grenell served as U.S. ambassador to Germany and acting director of national intelligence in Trump’s first administration.

Three years ago at the Super Bowl in Los Angeles, Kendrick Lamar was the home-turf newbie on the halftime show hip-hop dream team of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and 50 Cent. On Sunday in New Orleans, the top-of-his-game Compton-born Pulitzer Prize winner didn’t have to share the glory with anyone as he further solidified his dominance of the genre and the culture.
“This is the great American game!” bellowed an Uncle Sam-clad Samuel L. Jackson as a tic-tac-toe board lit up the stadium and Lamar appeared surrounded by dancers clad in red, white and blue.

Whether it is the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs or 2018 winner the Philadelphia Eagles who triumph today at Super Bowl Lix, Donald Trump has already scored a political touchdown.
“That’s history in the building,” the Fox broadcast team declared as Trump walked on to the field at the Super Dome just before kickoff to an equal mix of jeers and cheers. Shaking hands with the Chiefs’ Chris Jones, Trump then held a very public and very quick meet and greet with some of the family members of victims in the January 1 attack on Bourbon Street and emergency responders who were there that terrible morning.
