Fango got a bunch of exclusive photos (see them below) and a progress report from Chilean filmmaker Francesc Morales on his wild and surreal horror film Humanimal. We last brought you word on the movie, which recently wrapped, here.
“We’re currently working on postproduction and editing the film and are hoping to have the final copy in around two months,” Morales tells Fango. The movie, which showcases actors dressed in animal costumes, gained a good deal of attention from its unsettling teaser trailer (which can be seen below), which led Morales to secure a bigger budget to help him land better production values and round up a solid ensemble. “As the movie is a very surrealist story, it was necessary for us to make a teaser trailer to find investors,” he explains. “Last year, we shot 15 minutes of actual scenes that allowed us to show how the movie was going to feel and look.
