Biography

Mrunmayee Lagoo started as an assistant director and as a script and continuity supervisor on films like 3 Idiots, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, PK, Talaash, Dangal etc. She worked as a first assistant director on the first season of the Aamir Khan produced television show Satyamev Jayate. Her interest in theatre arts has led her to acting, directing and producing notable English and Marathi plays. She has also been developing several scripts as both writer and creative producer and in the year 2020, Thappad (2020) became her first film as a screenplay writer.
