Chris is an an Actor, Voice Artist, Writer and Producer He received his Drama training from the University of Pretoria, where he received the award for the Best Creative contribution to the Drama department in 2005. As an actor and singer, he has appeared in a variety of theatrical, television and film productions. His TV credits include South Africa's first Superhero Television series Jongo as the sinister villain Mr. Angel, in High Rollers he played Kallie the klutzy IT guy and in KykNet's Moeggeploeg he played the charming milk farmer Myburgh, he also featured in 7de Laan, the mini-series Huis van Liefde and the Mzansi Magic drama series The Road. He is a familiar face in South African and International commercials, having proved his versatility in performing as a multitude of different characters for major national and international brands Garmin, Toyota, Energade, SABC, MTN, Wimpy and the list goes on... As a theatre actor he's performed in musicals and straight theatre alike, some of his credits include The Rocky Horror Show as Riff Raff, Spongebob Squarepants the Musical as Squidward, Houtkruis the musical and in Maralin Vanrenen's I Have Life he played the psychopath Franz du Toit. His Feature film credits include the Netflix-produced International feature Jadotville directed by Richie Smyth, American Post-Apocalyptic Horror Film Last Broken Darkness directed by Christoper-Lee dos Santos, the biopic Hansie and Afrikaans family film Pretville. He also starred in the 48 hour film project short films Lady & Trompie and Beau Belle Cosmetics, both produced by PI R Squared productions, the latter of which received 7 awards, including overall winner at the 2012 Johannesburg 48 hour Film Project. As a voice artist he has given life to various voice campaigns on Radio and Television including Disney, LG, MTN and Toyota amongst others. He is the co-founder of Pôkô Productions, a puppetry and theatre production company, which specialises in Shadow puppetry having produced Shadow Theatre productions Yanagi, Into The Light and The Greatest African Love Story among others.
