Daniel Kadin
Daniel Scot Kadin (WGA, Dramatists Guild) is a writer and director from the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, celebrated for crafting collaborative spaces where actors push creative boundaries. Known for his improvisational approach, Daniel's work thrives on spontaneity and experimentation, delivering performances rich in emotional depth and daring.

He began his career in television as a set decorator on Sesame Street before expanding into theater, working simultaneously across both mediums. He wrote and directed off-Broadway productions, co-wrote the book for the rock musical Bulldozer featuring Constantine Margoulis, and adapted and directed the off-Broadway production of Heart of a Dog by Mikhail Bulgakov, along with several other notable works. Transitioning to film, Daniel joined the Writers Guild of America, where he refined scripts before writing his own features, starting with a feature-length adaptation of Ward 6 by Anton Chekhov.

In addition to his creative work, Daniel launched a suite of production and performance studios throughout New York City, converting vacant ground-floor spaces into shooting studios that hosted productions by major studios and independent artists alike. He also emerged as a streaming innovator, partnering with Trainwreckstv for the upcoming series The Entropy Agency, set to premiere on New Year's Day, 2025, inspired by his experience as a rare book dealer in Paris.

As a director, Daniel's projects explore the full spectrum of human emotion, creating worlds that are both obscenely beautiful and disturbingly amusing. It's gods and clown's cavorting in Daniel's latest project: Awe Girl, an episodic dramedy.

Awe Girl is a surreal psychodrama grounded in emotional truth, whipped into a towering, euphoria-inducing froth. At such heights, light and love feel undeniable-until they vanish, like bubbles floating above a child's quiet heartbreak. Left in the dark, mocked through tears for missing the punchline, audiences will still return. Because the joke, however cruel, hits hard enough to shatter the lies that keep us from the thrill of being alive - which is shattered upon seeing there's no milk for this cereal.
