Lexa Edelstein

Biography

    • Lexa Edelstein is an actor on the rise, quickly becoming one of Toronto's most compelling emerging voices in film and theatre. With a fearless commitment to bold, boundary-pushing storytelling and a deep well of technical training, Lexa brings a rare mix of raw presence, emotional depth, and physical precision to every role.

A graduate of York University's Acting Conservatory, Lexa has trained under some of Canada's most respected theatre artists-including Erika Batdorf, Andrew Moodie, Jamie Robinson, Laurel Paetz, and Keira Loughran. Her work is influenced by classical text, physical theatre, and the Batdorf Technique, resulting in performances that are visceral, intelligent, and unforgettable. Lexa's screen debut came opposite Judd Nelson in the Hallmark Channel's Cancel Christmas, and she's been turning heads ever since. On stage, she delivered a scene-stealing performance as Evil Gabbi in She Kills Monsters, showcasing her signature blend of sharp comedic timing and fierce physicality.

Also trained in hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, gymnastics, and stunt work, Lexa thrives in roles that demand both grit and grace. A classically trained vocalist and singer-songwriter since the age of seven, her artistry spans genres and mediums with ease. Lexa is passionate about telling queer stories, championing underrepresented voices, and diving headfirst into characters that challenge norms. With her unique voice, unstoppable drive, and magnetic presence, Lexa Edelstein isn't just one to watch-she's the one you won't be able to look away from.
