- Jeanne Werner is a Luxembourgian, Vienna based actress, working both in theatre and film. She studied acting at the Zurich University of Arts (ZHdK). Her most recent credits include a major supporting role in Marie Kreutzer's "Corsage" alongside Vicky Krieps. It premiered in the section "Un certain regard" at Cannes Film Festival 2022 and Austria's submission for the 2023 Academy Awards. She also played the lead role in the short film "Cru" by David Oesch which premiered at the HollyShorts Film Festival 2019 and won the "Student Visionary Award" at Tribeca Film Festival 2020. She works regularly in theatre performances in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Luxembourg, performing in German, French and English. She played her first major role in the feature film "The Colony" (2015, dir. Florian Gallenberger) alongside Emma Watson and Daniel Brühl. She then starred in a major supporting role in Sam Garbarski's "Bye Bye Germany" (2016) which premiered at Berlinale 2017.
