Dimitris Polidoropoulos is a Greek Film Editor, Director and Cinematographer. Having worked-in highly acknowledged and awarded contemporary Greek movies, like Exelixi (2023), The Last Note (2017) and Little England (2013), he is mostly known for his work as a Film Editor. In 2024 he was awarded, alongside Takis Giannopoulos, "Best Edit" for the film Exelixi (2023), in the Ierapetra International Documentary and Film Festival.
In 2016 he directed his 1st Film, the social Documentary New Generation Got Game (2016), followed by the historic Documentary Isnaf (2019) (2019), and his 3rd one "7 summits" (2024).
Dimitris Polidoropoulos is a multi-talented professional, with an extensive skill-set and vast experience in the audiovisual industry, having worked in various roles, not only in the Editorial, but in the Sound Department as well.
Many films he participated-in as a Film Editor and/or a Sound Crew-Member have been repeatedly awarded, by different institutions, with relevant categories such as "Best Movie", "Best Debut Film" and or "Best Sound". Indicative case: Little England (2013) which won both "Best Feature Film" and "Best Sound" (along with other 4) at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards 2014.
