While the actor has had a long career, he hasn’t been in too many action or thriller films. He recently shared how much he enjoyed the show’s karate fight and is now starring in a BET+ film that will fill the fans’ need to see him in a thrilling new role.

A Roller Coaster Ride

The trailer for the new film, The Accused, promises a roller coaster ride as Dani West (Paige Aubrey-Marie Hurd) is framed for the murder of her fiancé. According to the press release, “Forced to go on the run, Dani, a plant geneticist that discovers a dark side to her brilliant work, must use her intelligence and resilience to uncover the truth before time runs out.”

Lawrence Saint-Victor is set to take on corruption as a detective in the BET+ original movie, “The Accused.”

Set to premiere Thursday, April 10 on the preeminent streaming service for Black audiences, Saint-Victor will play Detective Lance Branson, a dedicated and hard-working police detective who balances his demanding career with the responsibilities of being a husband and father-to-be.

A man of integrity, deeply committed to justice, and often going above and beyond in his investigations, Lance’s latest case sees him seeking out the truth when a brilliant plant geneticist is framed for her fiance’s murder.

Lawrence Saint-Victor’s Carter has certainly run the gamut of emotions on The Bold and the Beautiful lately. He went from feeling elated when he snatched Forrester Creations away from Ridge, Steffy, and Eric to feeling like a heel for betraying his friends and pseudo-family. He also went from thinking he was in love with Hope to having mixed emotions about Daphne. Saint-Victor’s been having a field day with these storylines and now he gets to branch out into the thriller genre.
