Rogue and Gambit are among the most iconic members of the X-Men superhero team, and while the 20th Century Fox films did not do either character justice, a phenomenal X-Men fan film does. A quintessential Marvel property, the various X-Men properties explore the traumas and struggles of mutants, humans born with the X-gene, which grants them fantastic superpowers that ordinary society is often fearful and violent towards. Rogue and Gambit, two X-Men mainstays, were unfortunately left rather underdeveloped in Fox’s X-Men movies, and while other adaptations have done the two justice, their characterization and romance in the fan film give X-Men fans the live-action depiction the two heroes deserved in cinemas.
Remy LeBeau, better known as Gambit, is known not only for his charm but also his ability to control kinetic energy, which he typically imbues into innocuous objects like playing cards, turning them into explosive ranged weapons.
