ThanksKilling 3 Gobbles its Way to DVD
Yes, the original ThanksKilling was far from something to write home about, but we cannot help but applaud the audacity it takes to make a second sequel that goes in search of the first sequel. And now? Now it's on its way home.

From the Press Release

The "Raunchiest Puppet Movie Ever Made*", ThanksKilling 3, debuts for the first time on DVD this October just in time for the holidays. The comedy/ horror spoof sees the return of original creators Jordan Downey and Kevin Stewart to the cult slasher series that follows Turkie, the fowl-mouthed Thanksgiving villain.

The original ThanksKilling was made for the minuscule budget of $3,500 while Downey and Stewart were still in college. After years of marketing it themselves, and with the help of distributor Gravitas Ventures, the film went on to gain a massive cult following for its purposeful "so bad it's good" vibe. It quickly rose...

Gobble Gobble...'ThanksKilling 3' Poster Releases
By Seth Metoyer, MoreHorror.com

Some people hated ThanksKilling, others (like me) thought it was fantastic piece of horror humor. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I heard there was going to be a sequel. And it's finally on its way.

ThanksKilling 3 (yep, they skipped past #2, but, in a rather clever way) centers once again around the fowl-mouthed villian 'Turkie' as he hacks his way to locate the last copu of "ThanksKilling 2". The rare film has found itself in the hands of a bunch of disturbed puppets.

Check out the poster below and watch for a trailer to be posted on MoreHorror sometime next week.

ThanksKilling 3 will release on November 13, 2012 from Gravitas Ventures. The film is directed by Jordan Downey and written by Kevin Stewart, Jordan Downey, and Mike Will Downey. Starring: Dan Usaj, Joe Hartzler, and the voice-talents of Marc M (Flowis), Mike Litzenberg (Greg Garbage...

New Poster for Thankskilling 3
I was unaware that there was a Thankskilling 1, but there you go. This seems to be one of those films with tongue planted so firmly in cheek that it threatens to burst through the skin. And with that image in your head, check out the new poster for Thankskilling 3, one of the first fruits of a new generation of crowdfunded films. This exists thanks to a Kickstarter campaign, so the public is whom to blame/thank for the film.

Must Watch: George Lucas Strikes Back
In our three part interview with X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn he told us that his version of the Cuban Missile Crisis which involves the intervention of the X-Men makes much more sense to him than how close we really came to World War III back in 1962. Sometimes fiction just makes more sense than reality.

And so it is writer/directors Bridge Stuart and Mike Litzenberg have created a fun fake trailer for a feature I would love to see titled George Lucas Strikes Back which reveals exactly how the same George Lucas made both the original Star Wars trilogy and the Star Wars prequels.

The answer? Well it wasn’t the same George Lucas;

Doesn’t that make more sense than The Empire Strikes Back and Attack of the Clones coming from the same filmmaker?...

George Lucas Strikes Back!
You've got to check out this great trailer for a fake movie called George Lucas Strikes Back. After being kidnapped and locked away for 20 years, the real George Lucas escapes to get revenge on the impostor that made those terrible Star Wars prequels. I found the trailer entertainingly funny, and in all honesty this could make for a fun movie. The fake trailer was written & directed by Bridge Stuart and Mike Litzenberg Check it out below and tell us what you think!

George Lucas
Votd: ‘George Lucas Strikes Back’
George Lucas
[1] Relate a bit too closely to that "Joss Whedon is my master now" Pvp comic [2]? Understand all too well what Tim was going through [3] in season 2 of Spaced [4]? If so, have I got catharsis for you. An amusing fake trailer titled "George Lucas Strikes Back" purports to reveal what really happened to the director between Episodes VI and I -- and that he feels exactly the same way about Jar-Jar Binks and midi-chlorians as you do. Along the way, writer-directors Bridge Stuart and Mike Litzenberg also manage to work in a knock on Brett Favre and a nod to Oldboy. Watch the "trailer" after the jump. As it turns out, our beloved Mr. Lucas has been falsely imprisoned while sinister forces besmirched his good name by putting out one shitty movie after another. We also learn that Lucas plans to exact revenge for those films, that Jar-Jar is actually even more malicious than he appears,...

Sr Pick: ‘George Lucas Strikes Back’
At this point, taking shots at the Star Wars prequels is a bit like kicking someone when they’re already down. We all know they were terrible and we’re all extremely well-versed in the reasons they were such a crushing disappointment (at least most of us are).

Rather than regurgitate the same old list of complaints, Bridge Stuart & Mike Litzenberg have channeled their resentment towards fanboy scourge George Lucas in a rather clever and sardonic way. The pair have created a trailer for a fake film titled George Lucas Strikes Back that offers another explanation for what went so horribly wrong with Episodes I, II, and III.

The trailer purports that after the completion of the original Star Wars trilogy and the success of the Indiana Jones films, Lucas was kidnapped and locked away while an ...
