The official accounts for the Tower of God anime series today released a new trailer for its upcoming second season featuring the opening theme song "Rise Up" performed by nine-member Japanese girl group NiziU . The group also perform the anime's new ending theme song, "Believe." NiziU made their major debut in December 2020 and previously provided the theme song for the 2023 anime film Doraemon: Nobita's Sky Utopia . "Rise Up" is their first theme song work for a TV anime series. Both "Rise Up " and "Believe" will be included in NiziU's first EP "Rise Up" to release in Japan on July 24, 2024. Let me start by saying that “Fullmetal Alchemist” (and particularly the second edition) is one of my favorite anime series of all time.
