Turns out, Russell is currently dealing with the heartbreaking news of her mother’s stage 3-4 brain cancer diagnosis.

Beyond the Brick has gone into detail with 'Mario in Motion' creator Brandon Jones, who said the project required over 12,000 pieces, as reported by Nintendo Life. In order for all the mini-figures, from Mario himself to Goombas, Piranha Plants, and Bullet Bills, to move the way they do in-game, Jones used 14 motors, which he revealed to Beyond the Brick by opening up the colorful Super Mario level. Besides the side-scrolling pieces, there's also an impressive item randomizer at the top of the moving platforms.

Bachelor In Paradise season 8 has experimented with a new twist, a split week in which the men and women on the beach were sent to different locations with a new group of singles to test their relationships. The men were able to stay on the original beach, while the women were sent to a nearby resort. The men on the beach were introduced to a group of five new women who included Kate Gallivan, Eliza Isichei and Sarah Hamrick from The Bachelor season 26, Jessenia Cruz from The Bachelor season 25 and Florence Alexandra from Bachelor In Paradise Australia.

On the other hand, the women were taken to an indoor resort where they were greeted by five new men. The new men consisted of Tyler Norris from The Bachelorette season 19, Rick Leach and Olu Onajide from The Bachelorette season 18, Alex Bordyukov from The Bachelorette season 13 and Adam Todd from The Bachelorette Australia.

On the heels of National Cinema Day, a smaller event that debuted last year, called National Cinema Week, has set Oct. 7-13 for its second annual push to celebrate moviegoing in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.

Over 1,200 theaters repping 12,00+ screens are participating and more may join. The dates are one week later than Cinema Week had previously announced in March.

Events include Community Day, where theaters will host more than 6,500 underserved youth at free Sat. morning showings of Sony’s Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, presented by the Independent Cinema Alliance.

Most cinemas are offering unlimited popcorn all week, there’s a Family Day on Sunday, and special loyalty club member rewards and prizes on Monday. Cinema Week is also helping to market a handful of event screenings, most but not all previously planned.
