Lana Condor To Star In QCode Scripted Anthology Podcast Series ‘Evergreen’; Alan Cumming & Abigail Spencer Also Cast

Exclusive: Lana Condor is trapped in a subterranean biosphere in a new scripted podcast series.

Condor, who played Lara Jean Covey in the To All The Boys film franchise, is starring in Evergreen, the first installment in anthology series Hidden Signal from QCode. The series also stars Alan Cumming and Abigail Spencer.

The nine-episode psychological sci-fi thriller was created and written by Chloe Stearns and John Wynn, who exec produced and directed QCode’s Last Known Position.

Evergreen finds Hannah (Condor) trapped inside her boss Fin Gorale’s (Alan Cumming) subterranean biosphere named Evergreen, alongside seven of the world’s greatest minds. When Fin informs the group that an asteroid has destroyed the surface of the Earth, they find themselves – forced survivors – tasked with rebuilding society. Grandview Ups Shivani Doraiswami and Brennan O’Donnell To Manager

Exclusive: Management company Grandview has promoted Shivani Doraiswami and Brennan O’Donnell to manager.

“Shiv and Brennan have both worked their way up and across our company,” said Grandview Partners. “They are beloved members of our team and have exhibited the hard work, hustle, trust and creativity that we value so much.”

Doraiswami joined the company in 2019 and was most recently a media rights coordinator in the literary department. She works with a number of clients including Hayley Krischer, whose novel The Falling Girls was optioned by Fifth Season with Made Up Stories producing and writing duo Chloe Stearns and John Wynn adapting and Executive Producing the series.

Doraiswami came to Grandview by way of Automatik Entertainment, where she previously worked as an assistant to Brian Kavanaugh-Jones. Prior to that, Doraiswami started off her career working in publishing at Verve.

Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories & Fifth Season Acquire Hayley Krischer’s YA Thriller ‘The Falling Girls’ For TV Series

Exclusive: Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories and Fifth Season have optioned the rights to Hayley Krischer’s young adult novel The Falling Girls for television. Chloe Stearns and John Wynn are set to write the series.

Set against the backdrop of a high school cheerleading squad, The Falling Girls is a thriller about the dark, intense and all-consuming paths female friendships can take.

Made Up Stories’ Jodi Matterson, Steve Hutensky and Papandrea will exec produce in partnership with Fifth Season.
