The final trailer has dropped for the last Conjuring film, and it sees the Warrens face a familiar demon.

Following the first trailer, which was released in May, Warner Bros. released the new and final trailer for The Conjuring: Last Rites on Thursday. The fourth Conjuring film follows Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) as they take on the Smurl case, which involved a family that was tormented by a demon for more than a decade, inspired by a true story.

But in this trailer, we find out that the demon was one the Warrens previously encountered. “There’s something in the attic. Ed, there’s an evil here. Something I’ve felt before,” Lorraine says.

“This thing in your house is a demon. It’s the first one that we’ve ever encountered,” Lorraine says to the family before later saying to Ed, “We were young. We were scared.

Ed and Lorraine Warren have one final case to crack in the iconic “The Conjuring” franchise. The paranormal investigating duo, portrayed by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, first appeared onscreen in 2013; now 12 years and a slew of spinoff films later, the original “The Conjuring” will close out with “The Conjuring: The Last Rites.”

Michael Chaves returns to direct “The Last Rites.” In total, the franchise has three “Conjuring” films, three “Annabelle” features, two “Nun” movies, and “The Curse of La Llorona.” Chaves helmed “La Llorona,” “The Nun II,” and “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.” A “Conjuring” series is in development at Max as well.

“The Last Rites” is set in the mid-1980s when the Warrens were retired. However, the couple returns for one last case involving the Smurl family. The Warrens most famously investigated the 1976 hauntings in Amityville, New York, which inspired the “Amityville Horror” franchise.

Hallmark+ has announced the first of three Cherry Lane sequels, Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane. Starring Jonathan Bennett, Corey Cott, Annabelle Bourke, Sarah Dugdale, Shannon Kook and Vincent Rodriguez III, the movie takes fans back in time to 1951, 2003, and 2024.

Jaymes Vaughan debuted two new Christmas singles on Nov. 8, performing both on board Hallmark’s Christmas Cruise on the Norwegian Gem. The singer is married to Jonathan Bennett, Hallmark actor and producer, who also served as the host of the inaugural cruise.

Vaughan performed “It’s Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas” and “Home for the Holiday” during the final night of the cruise, while Bennett, Tyler Hynes, Brooke D’Orsay, Ashley Williams, Will Kemp, B.J. One of the biggest questions (at least among those who haven't read the original Jack Reacher novels) many viewers had going into the "Reacher" season 2 finale regarded the mysterious A.M. (Ferdinand Kingsley). The show has constantly cut to this enigmatic man, who's gone by many names with those initials, throughout its second season. He's been on a dangerous mission across the country to transport some illegally contained missiles, and he's casually murdered multiple people in his quest to pull it off.

But beyond that, A.M.'s been irrelevant. For seven episodes straight, he hasn't shared a single scene with any of the other main characters, nor has he actually done much to affect their goals. A key scene from Reacher's latest episode shows why Alan Ritchson's main character is having a hard time believing Swan is a traitor. In terms of introducing the character of Reacher to audiences, Amazon could scarcely have chosen better than the books they used for seasons 1 and 2.
