Popular gaming YouTuber ProJared has been accused of sexual misconduct by at least seven people.

Jared Knabenbauer, better known as the popular gaming YouTuber "ProJared," has been accused of soliciting nude photographs from and sending nude pictures to fans by at least seven people. Two of these fans allege that they were 16-years-old at the time of solicitation.

The accusations first came to light on May 9 in a series of tweets written by popular cosplayer and artist Heidi O'Ferrall, Knabenbauer's wife, who alleges that the YouTuber created a Snapchat account in order to solicit nudes from fans. O'Ferrall also alleges that Knabenbauer cheated on her with Twitch streamer Holly Conrad and that she knew about Knabenbauer's Snapchat solicitations but "felt pressured to allow it."

Knabenbauer had posted a statement on Twitter hours earlier, announcing his divorce from O'Ferrall:

“My wife Heidi and I have filed for divorce.

The allegations first came to light after Knabenbauer announced that he and his wife, cosplayer Heidi O’Ferrall, were divorcing. Shortly after Knabenbauer announced the split on Twitter, O'Ferrall responded in kind, alleging that her husband had cheated on her with Twitch star Holly Conrad. O'Ferrall also tweeted that Knabenbauer had been soliciting nudes from his fans -- a fact that he has been open about on his Tumblr account, Kotaku reports.

"In the beginning, it was a joke on Tumblr," O’Ferrall wrote of the solicitations. "Then it was its own Tumblr account just for nudes. It was ostensibly a body-positive space for consenting adults, and I approved on that basis." However, in hindsight, O'Ferrall now perceives the exchanges as an abuse of power. “I used to think that among consenting adults, it was fine.

Ross O’Donovan of Game Grumps fame has announced that he and his wife Holly Conrad are calling it quits. Versus Valerie, a 12-part original web series that will chronicle the chaotic life of YouTube sensation Sexy Nerd Girl, has been awarded financing from the Independent Production Fund.

For 18 months, the team behind Sexy Nerd Girl has crafted the online persona of the fictional character Valerie Lapomme (played by Hannah Spear).

The result has been an internet sensation whose videos have over 1.75 million views and have been nominated for Best Web Series in the 2012 Canadian Comedy Awards.

The team's efforts have focused on making interactions with the audience an important part of the story, often shaping Val's personal views, her relationships and her story as a whole.

Sexy Nerd Girl is a first person narrative, with Valerie broadcasting her story through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, her blog and her successful vlog (video blog) on YouTube.
