House Of The Dragon: The Significance Of Old Valyria Explained
Image
No fantasy series can truly thrive without the help of persuasive, fully-formed world building, and "House of the Dragon" is no exception. Whether it's the byzantine assassin underworld filled with honor and rules in "John Wick," the incredibly specific yet wonderfully malleable atmosphere and tone of "Star Wars," or the millennia of prior events influencing Middle-earth in "The Lord of the Rings," audiences wholeheartedly bought into these various universes, in no small part due to the well-worn idea that these stories and settings existed before their respective movies even began and last long after we received (or will receive) our final glimpse of them.

With HBO looking for a new flagship series to fill the vacuum left by "Game of Thrones," perhaps it was only fitting that its prequel series come next in the line of succession. After the premiere became a ratings bonanza and almost singlehandedly led to the show's second season renewal,...

‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 3: First Official Video Teases ‘A Great War’
HBO's 'Game of Thrones' returns for its third season March 31! Game of Thrones fans, HBO knows you're chomping at the bit for a first look at the show's third season, and the network has finally delivered — sort of. A teaser video premiered Nov. 18, in which an unidentified woman reveals a haunting prediction for the future of Westeros. "A great war is between death and life, ice and fire," the woman says. "If we lose, the night will never end." The general consesus among fans is that the voice belongs to none other than Quaithe (Laura Pradelska), the mysterious masked woman who first appeared in the final episodes of season two. Game Of Thrones: Season 2 TV Show Trailer: ‘Seven Devils’
Game of Thrones Season 2 Trailer. The Seven Devils Game of Thrones TV show trailer features a song entitled (I presume) ‘Seven Devils’, song sweetly by a female singer. The Game of Thrones Seven Devils trailer features all new footage for season two of Game of Thrones. The part when the singer or singers say “seven devils are around you” after Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is finished speaking is pretty powerful. Also we are shown that parts of the second and third books in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series are represented in season two. Why do I saw that (spoilers): The Unsullied are shown as well as the moment of their purchase. That happens in A Storm of Swords, the third book in the series (end spoilers). Like it says in the prologue of one of the books though, some events happen coterminous with other events...
