Clifford the Big Red Dog was spotted just outside of Metro Detroit in Allen Park, Michigan taking a break from promoting his new film, Clifford the Big Red Dog. The large red pooch was seen relaxing near the world’s largest tire.

Exclusive: In the wake of being quite content with the theatrical and Paramount+ day-and-date release of Paw Patrol, the studio is putting the eOne/New Republic Pictures feature Clifford: The Big Red Dog back on the calendar for Wednesday, Nov. 10 in both theaters and on the ViacomCBS streaming service.
The decision is also due to the ongoing pandemic, the safety for kids 6-11–Clifford‘s main demo and changing consumer behavior. If you remember, Sony moved Ghostbusters: Afterlife out of the Veterans Day stretch there and put it on Nov. 19. Jennifer Garner’s family comedy Yes Day is on track to be seen by 53 million households in the first four weeks of its release, Garner said on her Instagram feed Friday. The Miguel Arteta-directed movie was released March 12 on the streaming giant and has already been No. 1 in 50 countries where it has debuted, according to Netflix.
If the projection holds, the pic co-starring Edgar Ramirez would be on track to be the streaming giant’s second-biggest Kids & Family release behind this past season’s The Christmas Chronicles: Part 2, which was seen by 61 million subs in its first month. By comparison, its kids title We Can Be Heroes was projected to be seen by 44 million in its first four weeks.
In Netflix’s metric, a view is counted as any sampling of at least two minutes of programming.
Last year, Netflix released its top 10 films list where the action thriller Extraction was No.

Twenty-five years ago, “Yes Day” would have been a dumbed-down high-concept Hollywood family comedy, and you could say it still is. The difference is that now it’s the Netflix version, which means, in this case, that it’s not so much “dumb” as post-psychological. The premise, for anyone who’s a parent, will sound rather catchy. Allison (Jennifer Garner), taken to task by her three children for being a Debbie Downer of a mom — a joyless disciplinarian who’s perpetually saying “No” — agrees to indulge her kids in a Yes Day. That is, for an entire day, she and her husband, the genial Carlos (Edgar Ramirez), will have to say yes to any request, big or small, that the kids make. “No, you can’t do that” isn’t on the table. The idea is that this will act as a kind of do-what-you-please purge for the children — a...

Netflix has bought worldwide rights to Jennifer Garner’s “Yes Day,” based on the 2009 children’s book of the same name.
Garner came on board the project earlier this year and will produce and star. Miguel Arteta, who worked with Garner on “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” will direct from a script by Justin Malen.
“Yes Day” is a New York Times best-seller from author Amy Krouse Rosenthal and illustrator Tom Lichtenheld. On “Yes Day,” kids receive only positive answers from their parents to requests such as pizza for breakfast, late bedtimes, and food fights.
Earlier this year, Garner and her three children — 6-year-old Samuel, 9-year-old Seraphina, and 12-year-old Violet — celebrated their sixth annual “Yes Day.” Entertainment 360 and Grey Matter Productions are producing the project.

A sequel, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, was released swiftly in 2011 and, there's been talk of finishing up the trilogy ever since, but nothing has come of it. However, Downey confirms that it's still on his to-do list, but will it really ever get done?
The Avengers: Infinity War star was recently speaking with Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming Marvel event. At one point, he was asked what's next for him now that he's done filming Infinity War and Avengers 4. Perhaps you haven't heard of Father Figures? That's because when the first trailer dropped more than a year ago, it was called Bastards. The team behind this comedy wised up, changing the title and giving you some time to forget. Now, they have cobbled together a new trailer, for better or worse, and here we are.
Arriving from Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment, the latest footage from Father Figures promises a Christmas comedy that will bring you back home. The movie opens on December 22, and it stars two heavy weights in the genre who've not been so busy lately. The movie teams the great Ed Helms with the always welcome Owen Wilson for the right amount of charm. It doesn't really matter how good or bad the script is, these guys will probably carry the material pretty far on their own.

Last month, Paramount Pictures debuted the first Baywatch trailer, giving fans a glimpse into what could be one of this summer's biggest movies. While we wait for the next domestic trailer to debut, the studio has released two new international trailers with never-before-seen footage. We get a better look at the villainous Victoria Leeds (international superstar Priyanka Chopra), the owner of a local club whose business has brought an influx of drugs and murder to a once-peaceful beach.
Paramount Pictures International debuted these new trailers, which offer a few playful jabs at the massively popular TV series this Baywatch remake is based on. One scene features Dwayne Johnson's Mitch Buchannon having lunch with his fellow lifeguards, where they're discussing everything that has happened once Victoia Leeds took over as the new owner of the Huntley Club. Chicago – “Office Christmas Party” summons up a few jolly ho-ho-ho’s, but can’t quite deliver even one decent belly laugh you’d expect, considering the talented cast chock full of funny folks. It’s halfway decent premise is drowned in a sea of unfulfilled potential and weak material that the ensemble can only do so much to save.
Rating: 2.5/5.0
Jason Bateman is stuck playing another variation on his nice guy persona. He’s a recently divorced middle manager at a corporate data server company in Chicago, working for the party boy son (T.J. Miller) of the company’s deceased founder. Bateman is too good for the material he’s given but he is consistently able to wring some humor and even warmth out of moments in the middle of the predictable run of the mill mayhem. The other highlight is “SNL’s” Kate McKinnon, generating the highest joke-to-laugh batting average of the bunch.

Earlier today, Baywatch stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron premiered the first footage from this adaptation on social media. The sexy beachside adventure moved up one week from May 19, 2017 to May 26, 2017, which falls on Memorial Day weekend. These brief videos provide just a tiny taste of all the ocean action before the full trailer debuts tomorrow, Thursday, December 8. We'll be sure to bring you the full trailer as soon as it arrives. But in the meantime, these two teasers help set the tone for this big screen adventure.
Dwayne Johnson's Twitter video teases that the "ocean's most powerful force will emerge," transitioning to a shot of The Rock carrying a lifeless body out of the water. Zac Efron's teaser video shows footage of his character Matt Brody, who is seen jumping off his motorcycle directly into the ocean to save a victim, along with another funnier moment where...

Chicago – The raucous party movie has become a reliable staple in movieland, and now a production tackles the holiday soiré, and all that can go wrong. “Office Christmas Party” is co-directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, who also gave us “Blades of Glory” and “The Switch.”
The story features T.J. Miller and Jennifer Aniston as the brother and sister who has inherited their father’s computer business. Miller runs the Chicago office, which is under performing. Aniston’s character wants to shut the branch down, but Miller thinks an epic holiday party will convince a potential client (Courtney B. Vance) to sign on and save the company, and enlists the aide of officemates portrayed by Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn and Kate McKinnon. The movie is filled with wild and funny takes on celebrating the holiday ritual, and shows off the city of Chicago in all of its winter glory.

Still on the fence about spending the holidays with Office Christmas Party? Perhaps you won't be after you get a taste of the new trailer, which Paramount Pictures just dropped on their Youtube channel. It comes packing some surprise gifts of laughter and a few killer one-liners, along with what could be described as the greatest wipeout ever.
Also, Tj Miller is seen renting babies. Bad Santa 2 proved to be a huge letdown for comedy fans over the Thanksgiving holiday. Perhaps this movie will get everyone in better spirits. In Office Christmas Party, when the CEO tries to close her hard-partying brother's branch, he and his Chief Technical Officer must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs.

Raunchy R-rated holiday comedies are becoming a new tradition in Hollywood. Last year saw the excellent The Night Before riding into theaters. Now, after last week’s Bad Santa 2, comes next week’s Office Christmas Party, which has had a brand new trailer gifted to us today.
Starring Jason Bateman, T.J. Miller, Kate McKinnon, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney B. Vance, Olivia Munn and Jillian Bell, the newest film from directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory) finds an annual high-end office Christmas party taking a turn for the worst when sex, drugs, violence and lots of alcohol consumption enter the equation.
While this new trailer doesn’t necessarily highlight on anything that hasn’t been seen in the previous ads, it does demonstrate the scope of madness that will be on display here. With each comedy attempting to be bigger and badder than the last, Office Christmas Party will,...

Jennifer Aniston is definitely entertaining the idea of a return to the small screen.
The 47-year-old actress -- who starred on Friends from1994 to 2004 -- appears on Netflix's Chelsea on Dec. 9, and admits that she has thought about coming back to TV. Host Chelsea Handler suggests to her longtime friend that she create a show with her Office Christmas Party co-star, Jason Bateman, writer Justin Malen and executive producer Will Speck.

Following the first trailer that debuted back in July, Paramount Pictures has unveiled the second trailer for Office Christmas Party. The studio has also unveiled three character posters featuring Jennifer Aniston, T.J. Miller, Courtney B. Vance, Kate McKinnon and Rob Corddry. This comedy could certainly shake things up at the box office next month, as the only wide release opening on December 9, one week before LucasFilm's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Earlier this summer, Paramount debuted the first poster for their highly-anticipated Baywatch remake, which helped celebrate Father's Day with Dwayne Johnson and Jon Bass. We haven't seen anything from this movie since then, but today the studio is helping to celebrate the Halloween holiday with three new posters that shows these cast members are "so hot it's scary." It's possible that these posters could be leading into the first trailer's debut in the near future, but that hasn't been confirmed.
The first of two photos, which Paramount debuted on the movie's Twitter account, feature Dwayne Johnson wearing a cape, flanked by Kelly Rohrbach dressed as an angel, and Alexandra Daddario as the devil. The second photo features Zac Efron apparently dressed as Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, since he's holding Halloween buckets filled with gold medals, as both Jon Bass and Ilfenesh Hadera are dressed as cats. Robert Downey Jr. may be busy getting ready to do battle with Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, but he is still committed to returning as Sherlock Holmes for a third go around. Sherlock Holmes 3 just took a massive step forward, because Warner Bros. and Robert Downey Jr.'s production company have just hired a writers' room to work on the script. The studio is clearly taking this very seriously, because they have brought in some big name writers to work on this anticipated sequel.
According to a report from Variety, Warner Bros. and Team Downey decided that bringing on just a writer or two for Sherlcok Holmes 3 wasn't good enough, so they hired five. The new writer's room for the movie will include Guardians of the Galaxy writer Nicole Perlman, Baywatch writer Justin Malen, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story writer Gary Whitta, Tomb Raider writer Geneva Dworet-Robertson and Snowden writer Kieran Fitzgerald.

Sometimes you need one writer, and sometimes you need...five, apparently.
Even though the "Writer's Room" concept that certain film studios have borrowed from the TV industry tends to be used for large scale franchises (Universal has set one up for its slate of Classic Monster movies), it looks like Warner Bros and Robert Downey Jr. want to use that concept for Sherlock Holmes 3. This move, which is typically used in order to make sure that there's a common thread and tone throughout a series of films, means that the threequel now has five writers helping to shape the script.
Variety is reporting that Nicole Perlman (Guardians of The Galaxy), Gary Whitta (Rogue One), Justin Malen (Baywatch), Kieren Fitzgerald (Snowden), and Geneva Dworet-Robertson (Tomb Raider) have all been hired to write Sherlock Holmes 3.

Paramount, Universal and Legendary aren’t the only studios in Hollywood that have taken to the concept of a writers’ room; Variety brings word today that Warner Bros. has drafted in an assembly of screenwriting talent for Sherlock Holmes 3.
Among those selected are Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy), Justin Malen (Baywatch), Rogue One scribe Gary Whitta, Geneva Dworet-Robertson (Tomb Raider) and Kieran Fitzgerald, whose last credit was for Oliver Stone’s button-pressing Snowden. That’s quite the cast of names, and though it’s often the case that a studio will recruit a crack team of scribes to fine-tune a franchise, Variety states that the idea behind Sherlock Holmes 3 is to extract all the possible ideas for the upcoming threequel, before deciding which is best to take the franchise forward.

Robert Downey Jr. and Warner Bros. are looking to get things rolling on Sherlock Holmes 3, and they’ve hired a team of writers to help shape the story and script. Despite the fact that there are plenty of other ways to get your Sherlock Holmes fix these days, Robert Downey Jr. is determined to keep his take on the detective in the mix. Variety reports that Team Downey, Warner Bros., and Village Roadshow have assembled a writers’ room for Sherlock Holmes 3. It’s something of a murderer’s row of people that have worked on big blockbusters, some of which have yet to come out: There’s Guardians Of The Galaxy’s Nicole Perlman, Baywatch’s Justin Malen, Rogue One’s Gary Whitta, Tomb Raider’s Geneva Dworet-Robertson, and Snowden’s Kieran Fitzgerald. With all those names someone should be able to come up with a worthy mystery. Variety acknowledges that a writers’ room for a single movie is a “rare” thing, but explains the idea is to avoid frequent rewrites.

Variety is reporting that Warner Bros., Village Roadshow, and Team Downey have put together a writers' room with several top names, including Nicole Perlman (Captain Marvel; Guardians of the Galaxy), Justin Malen (Baywatch), Gary Whitta (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Geneve Dworet-Robertson (Tomb Raider), and Kieran Fitzgerald (Snowden). This is only the first step in making the long-rumored film a reality, but it's sounding more and more likely that it goes on floors late next year or early 2018 after Robert Downey Jr. (Captain America: Civil War) fulfills his commitments on Marvel Studios' highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War, which is expected to begin its long production schedule next February. In addition to Downey, Jude Law (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) is also expected to return as Dr. John Watson and Guy Ritchie (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword), who helmed the first two films, is once again expected...

As such, the assorted companies behind the sequel – Robert Downey Jr’s Team Downey production outfit, Warner Bros, and Village Roadshow – are bringing together a bunch of writers to sit in a room and work it out.

Ed Helms and Owen Wilson are men in search of answers in the new trailer for the upcoming comedy film, Bastards. The project is the directorial debut of The Hangover cinematographer Lawrence Sher, and is the first feature-length script from Justin Malen (Trophy Wife) to reach the big screen. With high stakes and hijinks, the movie sets itself as some comedic relief for the new year, with its post-Christmas release window.
The winning elements of this trailer include the way in which the collection of older men approached by Peter and Kyle Reynolds recall their mother (Glenn Close). These wistful memories, dripping with lust, serve to teach these young siblings a valuable lesson – that the image they hold of their mother is not the only version of her that ever existed.

Though Universal first adopted Clifford the Big Red Dog, tentatively placing a big-screen movie on course for release in 2016, Deadline brings word that the giant canine has now found a home at Paramount.
Enlisting screenwriter Justin Malen (Baywatch), it’s understood the rejuvenated feature film will incorporate both CGI and live-action sequences in a manner not dissimilar to Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book.
A product of celebrated author and cartoonist Norman Bridwell, Clifford the Big Red Dog first roared to life all the way back in the early ’60s, going on to become a fixture of childhoods nationwide through Bridwell’s own novels and the eventual TV adaptations. Now, a bona fide feature film is in the works.
Orbiting around Emily Elizabeth, a pint-sized young girl who grows up in a rural community, Clifford kicks into gear when, inexplicably, Emily’s loveable birthday present grows to be 25 feet tall.

Paramount Pictures has picked up the film rights to the beloved children's book series "Clifford the Big Red Dog" and is developing it as a live-action/CG hybrid feature (ala "The Smurfs," "Garfield").
Justin Malen, who penned the upcoming "Baywatch" film, will adapt the script from the 75-book strong series created by Norman Bridwell in 1963. The story follows the 25-foot-tall canine and his owner, the young Emily Elizabeth, and their misadventures together.
The books were previously adapted into a video series in the 1980s, two television series, and a 2004 animated film. David Bowers ("Astro Boy") was attached to helm this film when it was previously setup at Universal Pictures.
