Per Variety, an all-star version with only celebrity chef contestants has been ordered at the network with Guy Fieri hosting. The tournament will last five weeks, starting on Aug. 16 at 9 p.m. on Food Network. Food Network announced that Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions IV will join its spring 2023 lineup. Tournament of Champions debuted in 2020 and featured some of the nation's most celebrated chefs facing off in culinary competitions. Hosted by Guy, the tournament challenges the chefs from both the East and West Coasts. The show's first three winners were Brooke Williamson (season 1), Maneet Chauhan (season 2), and Tiffani Faison (season 3). Tournament of Champions is known for its spinning randomizer, which determines which ingredients the chefs will have to use, along with how the food will be cooked and how much time the contestants have to complete the tasks.

“Tournament of Champions” Season 4 is finally set at Food Network. The new batch of episodes will fire up Sunday, Feb. 19 at 8 p.m.

The fourth season of the Guy Fieri-hosted bracket-style cooking competition will include a “randomizer wild card” twist, which “progressively get harder and harder in each round.” For the “Tournament of Champions” Season 4 finale on April 9, “Guy is pulling out the ultimate wild card by inviting a surprise judge who is one of the most respected and revered chefs in the world.”

'Next Iron Chef' winner Alex Guarnaschelli's mom: 'Don't do it! You're not good at those things.'
The top three chefs -- Nate Appleman, who made a complex haddock chowder and Amanda Freitag and Alex Guarnaschelli -- squared off on Food Network's  season finale of "Next Iron Chef: Redemption" Sunday (Dec. 23), with Guarnaschelli serving up sea urchin to secure her victory.

"I never thought for a minute that I would win," she tells Zap2it. "In the humblest of terms, I never dreamed I would win, and when that curtain dropped [revealing my photo], you could have knocked me over."

"I did tell my parents," Guarnaschelli says. "My mom -- I called her and said, 'I am doing 'Next Iron Chef' again. And she said, 'Oh no, don't do it! You are not good at those things. Don't do it!' "

Alex Guarnaschelli wins 'The Next Iron Chef' season 5
Having beaten out seven other high-end chefs for the honor, Alex Guarnaschelli was chosen as the winner of "The Next Iron Chef: Redemption." The chef managed to beat Amanda Freitag and Nate Appleman to take the title in the season 5 finals. Normal 0 false false false En-us X-none X-none

Nate Appleman presented poached haddock and clam chowder. The judges called parts of his dish "absolutely perfect" and said that his haddock changed their mind about it being boring.
