Dark Cove is an independently shot horror feature from writer, director and actor Rob Willey. Willey is also the frontman for the high-energy rock group Jell and is an award winning music video director. His work on Jell's Out of Your Head won music video of the year 2012 at the Vancouver Island Music Awards. And now, he has set his sights on completing one of the most brutal horror films this year. Local director Rob Willey has recently released the first trailer for his upcoming feature Dark Cove. This camping-in-the-woods thriller deals with an adventurous surf trip that quickly spirals into chaos and murder. Dark Cove is currently just past the mid-point of shooting and Tall Grass Films has released a trailer for the feature. In the clip, most of the film's primary cast can be seen. Five friends: Ian (Eliot Bayne), Quinn (Rob Willey), Jen (Montanna McNalley), Joey (Rob Abbate), and Donnie (Cameron Crosby) venture to an isolated campground. These friends meet two Australian surfers: Dean (James Anderson) and Chase (Rodney Woods), who might not be who they appear to be. Now, relaxation and good times are replaced by murder and mayhem.
